Perhaps you could modify one of those "crawling" green Army men that I used to have as a kid. Then you could push him around like he's in real pain waiting for the ref to produce a card.

Make sure to bring a smoke machine to simulate the smog at the Azteca.

Not to mention tiny bags of urine...

Alas, I just found out I'm not going to be able to make the Delaware trip. A young lady my wife works with just played another "I don't want to work on Saturday" card. She says her brother in law was just killed in a motorcycle accident. I don't want to sound callous, but this is the fourth scheduled Saturday that my wife has had to cover in the last 12 months. They are each scheduled for 1 or 2 Saturdays a month, and this gentlewoman seems to have these crises always pop up on her week. I really wish I was more sympathetic, but she's used up all the "I feel bad for you, don't worry about disrupting my life" credit she's going to get. I will pray for her and her family, but I'm still really pissed off.

No worries, Jim. I'll take plenty of pictures.

The inaugural SoB Subbuteo Club match took place this evening. I took a 2-0 result over Zesty Italian FC. ZAFC has a lot to learn but had a great showing and will be a good squad for a long time to come.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. The cream will rise to the top this evening. 3-0 to FCF

Look at all the cute guys in one room! [IMG]

I had no idea those little subbuteo dudes were so tiny! They looked much bigger in the vids Davey posted.

I will be seeing Paul from Table Soccer USA in the morning. If you guys want anything, go to www.tablesoccerusa.com and search through everything he has for sale. If you want something, PM me with what you want and paypal the money to me at dave.flagler [at] sonsofben.com. I need to let him know tonight so he can bring the stuff to the tournament.

Yup, I'll be there in the morning; not sure about the boy yet. Gonna try to bring him along. We need to be on the field at 2:00 for his game.
