I found this after starting a thread on Yanks in Spain. It's only a bit on Suarez but can anyone find out if it's for real??? https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=152304
Here's an article on it. Very interesting!!! Says he'll go on trial in Mexico and will train with Osasuna. Please don't go!!!!
If he leaves, I can't say I'll miss him, or that crazed look in hie eyes when he's about to get carded. He had some good games this season, and at least one great game, but he's unpredictable. I liked it better when he played for the Burn and we got to play against him. Topper
I rather liked the way opposing strikers' faces turned green when Ryan got "that look." He's the first real "hard man" we've had since Danny Pena.
bite Hmmmm... I wonder what age Spain's stauary rape law starts? This could be a great move for Suarez, not only could he date a younger range of teenage girls legally. He would have to learn to drive on the the right-side, which means he can grope the ladies while blasting R Kelly out of his odd-shaped euro mini van. go rhino go
I think this is good news both for LA and Suarez. If he goes, he gets to mature and become a consistently good player, which he isn't. And if he goes, especially to Spain, LA gets to add to their already big amount of unused money. Gentlemen, LA has a potentially great offseason ahead of them.
Hopefully he stays, in my opinion he is the best defender we have, always plays with more heart than the rest of the team put together, doesn't choke under pressure and can really get under the skin of the opposition and who cares who and what he is banging on his own time.
It's called injury. Give him some time. Califf is good. Him and TMarsh in the backline is money. I like: Albright/Califf/Marsh and then almost whoever...although a certain Brazilian would be nice.
Do you rate him good or bad? Califf isn't any worse even when playing poorly then suarez, and doesn't have the out of control incident waiting to happen feel about him either. When Califf is healthy this year, I think he'll be one of the top defenders in the league.
2004 was a lost year for Califf. Can't judge him based solely on his few games after missing almost the whole season injured...
Marshall good Hope you are right on Califf, nothing against the guy he just hasn't impressed me over the past couple of years.
Good point on his injury problems. I like Albright going forward but he needs to develop on the defensive end. Admire the way he had the balls to stand up and be counted after that debacle in Kansas. Would like to see Broome given more time at left back
I think he will be picked up by a club in Mexico before he sets off for Spain. ...let's just hope it's not Chivas.
Suarez was a great sub when everyone was hurt. That's all, but that was a lot. He wasn't; however, our best defender. The question is will we get anyone for him? His MLS contract is done (?) so I guess that means no.
Re: bite oops, not quite, chief. Only brits drive on the wrong side of the road. Spain is left side, just like us.
