The fact that he's staying would make you think that he'll automatically replace Tyrone, right?

    WRONG

Knowing Steve, Roberts will start against Crew, and if he doesn't make an almighty ******** up that costs us the game, he'll be in Tyrone's place until Tyrone's back.

Isn't Sturgis a left-back, or has he been known to place centre-back before?

    Oh I know, I know. :)

I'm just stating that this would give you the impression that he'll play. But it'll more than likely be Roberts, 'cause that's the sort of thing Steve does.

It's probably just a precautionary measure, gives us another option at the back which never hurts

I'ld rather see Dunseth start than Roberts. But, I haven't seen them practice so, who knows.

Did you guys see how Palencia took roberts to school. He taught him his "ABC's, 123's. Roberts sucks and Dunseth should play.

Dunseth should play. I don't see why we really need Sturgis back.

Dunseth will start over Robert thats why he was brought in to replace one

    of the starting CB.

    Strugis should go to Argentina

    Thanks Bob

I'd also feel a lot more confident with Dunseth, and that's only because when Roberts is on the field my confidence in his is like -10 or something :D

I was screaming like crazy when Stevie put Roberts in instead of Duseth. What is that all about? Thats what worries me, that sub. Sturgis should go, nobody will learn anything of use from Stevie.

Sturgis played centrally until he joined the Galaxy and got put at left back - the thinking is he's a little too small to play central defense in MLS.

However, Sampson might be thinking tactics here (I know, heresy, heresy!). While Dunseth would be a better Ty-replacement when facing a team with big tall forwards, Sturgis is faster and might be a better back when facing a team like Columbus who has that young, fast Kei Kamara to keep track of.
