I know! Isn't it exciting!!! The hello!! ad is back and have seen it like 40 or 50 times in the last 6 days, the Telus ad is still here and now I have a CTV ad with a flash pop up that is annoying a f.u.c.k. Woo hoo!!!
I was on a laptop while other people in the house were trying to sleep. I forgot to mute the computer and I was surfing bigsoccer when suddenly I hear 'heloooooooooooooo!!!'. I almost had a heart attack. Now imagine if I was some old guy who had heart problems and I died because of BS? Please, please, please, remove those stupid talking ads!
?? Who you talking to? What does that even mean? If you are addressing users that keep getting annoying ads, what relation is there between knowing how to use a computer and feelings/ideologies towards annoying ads?
Instead of blindly insulting people, please post constructively and tell us what we can do to remove/block these ads.
I have received the hello ad myself. I have confirmed that, in accordance with our policies, it only says hello if you mouse over it. However, I agree that the ad sucks, and have requested it be pulled.
There is something out there that does the trick, but it is counter to the benefit of BS, so Huss doesn't want it spoken.
on Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Mac OSX, the ad says hello when the ad appears and also get the Hello whenever you re-enter the browser window with the cursor for example, if I go to the toolbar (file, edit, view, bookmarks…) and then move the cursor down to re-enter the browser window or if I switch tabs (or at least move the cursor as if I was gonna switch tabs) as switching tabs would require the user to move cursor outside the browser window. anyway thanks. Just wanted to point out that that particular ad does not work the same on every browser and contain lots of bugs.
Can we dump these Damn things?? I don't need my computer yelling at me when I leave the mouse pointer in the wrong place...... Edit: Read the whole thread,and see you are doing so.Thanks

Yep, I mean not before my previous post where I said Hello to everyone in here… But I did get it like 2 times during my lunch break at around 3 pm…so basically 3 hours after my hello GOOOOD NIIIIIGHT!
