How does this relate to the CL. 2 a team innit??? @2)Is the WC more important than the domestics?. In hockey its like the hell with World Championship hows the team doin??? 3)What the hell is Barclayyard>??? 4)Why is this site not called bigfootie.com seen as only fool Americans call football soccer. ??? (Any country that likes college hoops more than footie or hockey cant be trusted..)????? God bless anyone who can answer these questions....
Please Please Please Please Please Please Please don't post in the American boards...there is actually a pretty good lull going on in Flame wars over there and your guarenteed to start one, and to answer your questions: 1) I don't think there is a rule. Arsenal always starts a mostly foreign squad. 2)Depends on the city your in and the time of year 3)I think its the major sponser of the English Premier League 4)Please don't say things like this. Its offensive to American SOCCER fans. And to answer your question this is an American owned Internet site.
1) England and Scotland's leagues have rules of three non-EU players in a matchday squad. Players who aren't English but do come from an EU country don't count against that limit, hence Arsenal's French foreign legion. Even Bolton, for example ... their squad on Saturday only had one Englishman in it. 2) Depends on who you ask. I myself prefer the international game, but for others it's club before country. 3) Barclaycard is a credit card company. They took over this season from Carling. 4) This board is largely populated, and operated, by said "fool Americans," so watch where you step.
Re: Re: Stupid Questions And Barcelona virtually were Holland the past few seasons. Barclay Yard? Where u been? It's the most famous credit card in England, from Barclays Bank.
Thanks for this - forgot about the EU citizen thing. Looking at post Monday at work I could have left out "fool" but I posted in the wee hours Saturday so there you go...
