This save from Ann-Katrin Berger today in the Euro quarterfinal was - well it isn't really a save because she stopped an own goal, which isn't a shot. Amazing. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2gf1XCHWktA
Well, we're off today in League 2 for the 2025-26 season for Crawley Town. Same new old Coach in Scott Lindsey but new owners so perhaps we can have a season relatively free from excess drama and focus on football. We shall see.
Thanks! Off to a terrible start down 3-0 75 minutes in away to Grimsby. We were assaulted with one of the worst PK calls you will ever see. Ever. 9 minutes in. Worst PK call candidate of the @efl season 9 minutes in. Pathetic. pic.twitter.com/WJMfJ9HB8h— Random Fan Brandt (@BrandtGoble) August 2, 2025
The Game 1 prices are unbelievable. And that’s the face value level. The secondary market will be astronomical. Game 2 prices drop some. Level 4 are $90 which isn’t outrageous.
Did you see the stadium maps of where those category 4 tickets are? Plus they might only be 1% of tickets.
I did. But, I’ve payed more for much worse seats at major sporting events before. And tbh the seats behind the goals at many, many stadiums in Europe are awful because of the tracks circling the exterior of the field. It’s the low number of tickets available at that price that is more disappointing.
Tickets this year are apparently ~4x the price of the Qatar games. Unreal. I'd like to go to some, but won't be buying any higher than category 3.
Did you get your picked from the presale? Or are you talking secondary market where this country (and Canada) look like complete idiots
I didn't get picked for the first ticket lottery. I'm just going off the article from the Athletic. The 4x info came from a video I watched while trying to understand the RTB scam.
So Renya is back with the national team and scoring. I still think he's the kind of player worth taking a flyer on, especially before the world cup.
He harassed the Paraguayan player to cough up possession leading to the US's 2nd goal. I thought he looked only okay other than that.
It was a hard fought but totally clean game, no tempers, and then BAM! And the Paraguayan player needed to let us have the ball since he needed to win it back. They were down a goal. Really weird.
The headlock came outta nowhere. I wonder if something was said while heads were down and they were tussling before the headlock? I was really appreciative of the ref and VAR for not handing out a ton of cards or reds as this was just a friendly and the game practically over.
There was no VAR. That probably explains the lack of cards. I don't know how you sort all that out without video review.
