The pattern for this club over its history seems so consistent at fading toward the end of the regular season. Either they fade and do not make the playoffs, or they limp into the playoffs. Recent form matters in this sport and at some point I'd like to see the Union at their strongest going into the playoffs.
Which is why I'm not too fussed if we don't make the Champions League. Extra matches anywhere during the season won't help us much (unless we get a squad with top notch rotation).
