THE STREAK ENDED IN HEARTBREAKING FASHION IN OUR LAST EPISODE FANS. OUR BELOVED CREW WAS SO CLOSE TO VICTORY, BUT AN UNEXPECTED COLLAPSE WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY A FORMER HERO. OUR YELLOW CLAD HEROES ONCE AGAIN FAILED TO FIND VICOTRY AT THIER FORTRESS, WHICH HAS LOOKED LESS AND LESS INTIMIDATING THIS SEASON. BUT THERE IS NO TIME TO CRY. ANOTHER FOE ARRIVES IN THE CITY TO ENGAGE WITH OUR HEROES. BACKED BY SHADY FOREIGN MONEY, THIS GROUP OF BLUE WEARING MINIONS OF E.V.I.L. WON LAST SEASONS CHAMPIONSHIP, TO THE DELIGHT OF DON G ARBOR. THEY LOOK TO INFLICT YET MORE SORROW ON OUR STARS!
This song is always associated in my mind with Real World Season 2 when it is inexplicably playing as David is walking on the beach alone, after "The Blanket Incident" while the rest of his roommates are voting to kick him out of the house. Maybe, it can serve as Porter's exit music as well.
The fact that you watch such drivel negates any claim you may have had about being a person of culture.
The Josh is down. Maybe. Josh Williams is questionable Saturday, due to illness. That’s the #Crew96 injury report vs #NYCFC— Thomas Costello (@1ThomasCostello) August 5, 2022
Strachan from Crew 2 is training with the team. I was really impressed with him in the game I watched. He's a good passer and has good awareness. They did take him out at halftime, but perhaps that was to get the draft pick some time.
I'll get to work on this and submit it to the Big Soccer Culture Czar for approval. Hopefully we'll have something to you soon.
Mine would include Streisand classics such as The Way We Were and her duet with Diamond, You Don’t Bring Me Flowers. Postal Service’s Nothing Better. Basically a breakup mixtape. Start sad. Very sad. Then eventually get to the rebound stuff like Alkaline Trio’s Good ******* Bye. Geeg once made me a killer breakup mixtape in the midish-2000s (2007). Absolute killer. He is a great brother.
All credit to Geeg. He had designed this epic tracklist that led from reflection and sadness to moving on. I bet he has the list somewhere. I was terribly distraught at the time (or in my early 20s thought what it meant to be distraught…).
