Good effort by the Storm tonight as they defeated the Ironmen 15-4 at the Sears Centre. Meola got the Ironmen off to a bad start by letting in two goals he should have stopped in the first quarter. The Storm played very solid defense, holding Dan Antoniuk to one assist. When the Storm gets back on defense and takes care of things on that end, good things happen for them.

By Storm standards it was also a good crowd at the Sears Centre tonight.

The guys needed to end this losing streak tonight. The team does not play a league game next week and I always hate to wait that long for a game after a loss.
The team owed these guys a big one after last time when the ironmen wanted to play rugby instead of soccer.
I have been saying all year long that Ughy has the same impact on us as Neto does the Blast and it showed tonight. Ughy only had one assist, but the team is a different team when he is in there.
