Nice Storm win 6-5. With the game tied up the Storm ghad a power play with a minute to go and Chris Carrieri (former fire player for a few minutes) scored the game winner. Cleveland had some good chances with a few seconds left but couldn't put the ball in the net.

I think we're going to have to start calling the Storm a nickname like the Cardiac Kids what with all these last second goals. Still, the win was deserved as Chicago generally dominated the run of play. The Storm defense was much more organinzed than it was against Milwaukee, probably due both to having more time to gel and because the Force are simply not as good as the Wave. They had to bring security over to haul the coach away.

That would be Chris "Clutch" Carrieri... I think the Cleveland coach has a history with the ref, Rich Grady. If I remember correctly, he was getting on his case at the exhibition weekend in Darien as well. According to the Storm press release, he seemed to be taking exception to the intentional handball that resulted in that final power play. Unless there was something else in that ending flurry.
