Stopping run during PKs(R)

    Was there a rule change to allow this? I thought stopping or stutterstepping your run was not allowed?

    I was convinced on two PKs (Ronaldo and Postiga I think, not sure) they would be called back. but the ref could certainly argue that the run didn't really stop, just changed pace. IMHO they could've been called back though but I should watch again.

    There's nothing wrong with fainting, so no infraction there.

    this is just my memory, but apparently FIFA qualified the rule by saying as long as a player does not go backward they can feint
