Is it possible that these boards can become Jim Rome free? Don't get me wrong, it makes me laugh when I listen to idiots talk about that which they don't know, but far to many people on this board take him way to serious and get far to bent out of shape about the thing he says. Ladies and Gents, we all know that soccer is here. He knows it and fears it. He knew NECKCAR was here and the two faced little man became a supporter. (READ: If you have the money, through it at Rome and he will have your back, right FOX?). He jocks (his term) hockey, but which way is hockey heading? That is right, nowhere. It's not getting bigger nor is it going away. So basically Rome dissing or pumping up will in no way effect our soccer world. Yes, he will touch that 2-4% of the country that can only think what a voice in a box tells them to, but those aren't the people we are looking to build our traditions on. (The WUSA did, but that's another rant). So if you want to listen to Rome, don't get all bent out of shape when he slams soccer, you know it is coming and short of winning the WC (which even then is a stretch) will he even acknowledge footie as a sport.
You cannot stop insanity on Bigsoccer, you can only hope to contain it. Starting another thread to complain about a subject isnt containing it, its spreading it.

whew. That was close. I just turned in my assignments on time. Another minute I get 10% deduction on my grade. After I turned in this 20 pages paper, I felt weight off the shoulder.
