last year both morelia and pachuca made it to the final. Probably the first time mexican teams took the tournament more seriously (more starters on the teams, huge pounding of teams such as kc and central american teams)

that final in my opinion caught the eye of the other mexican teams and now they probably think "hey if we can't win the championship might as well win this"

mexican teams used to take second division teams to play the other sides now they take b players plus a few starters, and are no longer playing the style "playing like trying not to get tired too much" (although they still don't play full speed) and this has reflected in the score lines.

mls fans should stop complaining. MLS is only 8 years old yet everyone expects them to be the best in the world right away (because this is america and america is the best at everything)

hopefully mfl teams keep taking the cup seriously because it will only help mls teams improve playing mfl teams. I heard that mls and mfl were going to have a tournament in the u.s next year and hopefully it comes true. Like i said it will only help mls teams improve playing mfl sides

nobody is expecting mls to be the best in the world.

but no matter how you slice it or spin it, 6-0 and 3-1 isterrible. don't read more into than that. and calm down, too.

These drubbings are a small price to pay for giving the Fusion fan another chance to climb up on his cross.

You can't expect all MLS teams to be successful in International competition, as DC United was when it won the CONCACAF championship and the Pan-American championship (against World runners-up, Vasco da Gama) in their third year.

    It takes time.
