I just saw the most emotional game ever for a Stony Brook women's soccer game. Alabny has been struggling. Stony Brook dominated the whole game outshooting them 34-2. This was quite entertaining with the way the Seawolves maintained possesion and attacked the whole game. Stony Brook should have won like 10-0. But the Seawolves just couldn't seem to finish. The fans were really into it as well. To my surprise, they actually gave out free mini soccer balls before the game. They never give out anything for men's nor women's soccer. It felt like 30 degrees out there. 75 people attending was quite an impressive number. It was frustrating watching constant opportunities being missed. But finally in double overtime, Stony Brook scored and everyone went ballistic. One thing that got me ticked off was a Eurosnob that shooked his head and left the game saying, "Nothing like the Premiership." Either way, it was an emotional win. And if I get sick for staying out in the cold for that long, it was worth it.
