Just bought the self-titled debut. Stone Sour is of course Corey Taylor's sideproject next to his main gig - Slipknot. This is one kick-ass album. Don't expect Slipknot however, as it is much more on the softer side. On the other hand, don't expect a CD filled with songs like "Bother". Stone Sour is much heavier than that.

    Track List:
    Get Inside
    Orchids
    Cold Reader
    Blotter
    Choose
    Monolith
    Inhale
    Bother
    Blue Study
    Take A Number
    Idle Hands
    Tumult
    Omega

My personal favorites are Get Inside, Orchids, Cold Reader, Inhale, Bother, and Tumult.

Jim Root from Slipknot is also in the band. According to Kerrang!, they've been around longer than Slipknot, but just never amounted to anything previously.

Murderdolls is another Slipknot spinoff, with Joey Jordison. I've only heard a couple tracks on comps and they sound okay, kind of a metallic glam punk sound.

The recent comp "The Heart of Roadrunner Records" has previously unreleased tracks by both. The Stone Sour track, "Rules of Evidence," rocks.
