    Stoke striker Peter Crouch would love to see his former club Tottenham win the Barclays Premier League - but is ready to put a major dent in their title bid.
    The Potters host Spurs on Monday night, with the north Londoners needing a win to keep their hopes of reeling in league leaders Leicester alive.
    Crouch, at Tottenham for two seasons before joining Stoke in 2011, admits he hopes the London outfit can catch the Foxes, who are eight points clear having played a game more, and finish the campaign as champions.
    But the 35-year-old has also stressed that his priority is his current side, who are looking to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat at another of his former clubs Liverpool last weekend - a match in which he made his first start since February 2.
    Crouch told £pottersmag: "I would love to see Tottenham win the Premier League.​

    IMO Crouchy owes Spurs for that red card he got in Champs league vs RM

    The title race took another twist this afternoon with the news that Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association for his behaviour following his second-half sending-off against West Ham.
    It means that Vardy could now face a two-game ban instead of one.

    The FA has also charged Leicester with failing to control their players after an 83rd-minute penalty was given to the visitors.
