Albion travel to Stoke Saturday afternoon. The Potters have won three on the trot - all clean sheets for Tony Pulis' club - and they sit right behind us in the table. They will be a formidable opponent at home. We had a good performance against a good club in Burnley last week, amd we will need to try to replicate that kind of performance away from home. We must hold on to at least a play-off place as we approach Christmas. Therefore, we must separate ourselves from the large pack of clubs within six points of us.
Stoke City 1 West Bromwich Albion 0 Our inability to score has come back to haunt us again. This time, however, our attack was quite impotent today at Stoke. All the Potters needed was a penalty to make it four wins in a row. And both they and Southampton have passed us in the table, pushing us out of the play-off places.
