No confirmation yet but a reliable source says it looks like Stewart did his ACL Saturday. Pending the results of an MRI today, there should be official confirmation soon.

This season is quickly turning into a debacle. This leaves the Rapids very short on defenders.

I'll be anxiously awaiting all the "Bring Back Balboa" posters.

I thought Borchers played well. Very confident for what I believe was his first game in the back.

I don't dissagree. Nat played well.
It's just the team has no depth.

News is the Rapids are signing a new developmental player - a 22 year old defender/midfielder that played at DU with Nat.

Too true. Less depth than the Quakes, which is saying something.

    Sucks for Stewart.

I don't know whether he's healed properly, nor do I fully know the rules on salary and player-coaches - but Balboa as an assistant coach/player, to provide a little depth (assuming that only part of his salary goes to the cap) wouldn't be the worst thing we could do.

Though I would personally want to bring back Martinez.
