Steve Reese (GK) to Romania?

    It may not be a fluke, but seems a bit strange for an american to live in this country for 2 years now and play second division soccer on top of that.

    It is not unusual this days to find foreigners playing in Rumania. For example league leaders Rapid Bucharest have 5 foreigners on the team the max allowed. The players are from Congo, Serbia, Nigeria, and two players from Belgium.

    I found this quote from the Seattle web page, report on a game between Seattle select and the Surge, I have no idea what level this is maybe PDL , but dated July 1999,

    "The Seattle Sounders Selects dominated the Cascade Surge for the entire match but scored just the one goal on an accurate strike from the midfield by Gabe Provenza. Ten saves, including several great ones, by Cascade goalkeeper Steve Reese were what kept the match close right up until the final whistle. The Selects outshot the Surge 25-7, "

    Yes, the Cascade Surge are in PDL.
