It may not be a fluke, but seems a bit strange for an american to live in this country for 2 years now and play second division soccer on top of that. It is not unusual this days to find foreigners playing in Rumania. For example league leaders Rapid Bucharest have 5 foreigners on the team the max allowed. The players are from Congo, Serbia, Nigeria, and two players from Belgium.
