I saw an interview with him a few years back where he said he could have probably played professionally and that after he retired he wouldn't mind owning a team - but he was talking Europe.

    He's a Spurs fan.

He did a basketball commercial for Nike that showed him playing soccer.

He (Nash) is doing this with Jeff Mallett former president and CEO of Yahoo.
Mallett is part owner of the SF Giants.
    Obviously, he's got money.

He'd make a nice partner for Cooper.

I wish Steve nash would join the MLS as a player! You should go on youtube and watch his 3-minute jugling performence at a basketball charity game. it goes to show how, the only talented people in the NBA are all soccer players until they relized they would make it better and farther in a different sport.

    Nash, Kobe Bryant,Garnett,Nowitzki,Ginobili,etc.

If he was to join a potential MLS ownership group, surely he'd get on board with Kerfoot and the Vancouver Whitecaps, which his brother currently plays for....

*and as a side fact, he was the named the best high school soccer player in British Columbia, and was probably better than his brother who plays for the Canadian national team. But I think he made a pretty good decision in sticking with basketball....
