Good luck Drew, you're making a great decision that will benefit not only you but your wife and son as well.
Shit, I need to make sure that I don't have any more eBay soccer cards coming. I'm not giving up that vice!
Think of the money you'll be able to spend on cards. $35 in cards goes a lot farther than at the bar. You've got this!
That was actually what got me into it. I was telling myself that the beer money was going to cards until the beer money turned back into beer money and I kept buying cards.
For those of you wondering, @XandDisorderly's yellow card is a tongue-in-cheek "send-off" that has to do with some, uh, disorderly things happening in one of the Crew political threads. You could venture over there to see what it involves, but I wouldn't recommend it! Good luck, Drew! You got this!!
Completely deserved too! In your Baltimore slums! Edit: do NOT set foot in the Thunderdome that is the political forum.
Q: What the heck is "MLS Jersey Week" doing in a random week in September? It used to be before the season when the teams would unveil their new jerseys for the season.
Soccer historian Colin Jose has passed. https://www.thestar.com/sports/socc...Gfov4NGckmuqZjmiCQ_aem_cSn0p5gtbijOOfnYdSxzjg
I feel like they sent Romero to this Yoga thing not because he has a few appearances left in his contract but also to learn how to be more zen and not do stupid tackles Finding Balance 🙏Together with @OhioHealth, the Crew recently hosted its annual Yoga Night. Evan Bush and Abraham Romero were in attendance and participants were able to take photos with the ’23 MLS Cup and the ’24 Leagues Cup. pic.twitter.com/VXVhYmofD3— The Crew (@ColumbusCrew) September 20, 2024
I think the last time I was completely booze-free for 7 straight days was when Connor was a baby, so I'm feeling pretty damn good.
Tomorrow will be the true test of my willpower. I'm pretty sure that I haven't been to a Crew game sober since I was probably 17.
