With only 3 episodes left (?) until the season finale (?), our heroes are still trying with all their might to qualify for the end of the season championship tournament. Our lovable Crew were able to secure a stalemate with the imposters from the south, proving again that they are the real yellow clad group. Now, once again, from the swamplands far south, a foe moves in to try to deny our heroes a chance to reclaim their glory.

And now, thanks to a dastardly plot from the minions of E.V.I.L, the newly human leader has been infected with a virus and rendered unable to lead. The task now falls to a subordinate, one who once wore the yellow uniform of our heroes.

The citizens are ever behind our heroes. Despite the odds being stacked against them, they continue to believe that somehow, they will find a way to qualify. Will their temporary leader step in and reward the citizens for thier faith?

I don't get the fascination with Keita.

I would rather see him on a bus to anywhere than suiting up in whatever color the FO puts us in for this one.

IMO, Crognale looked 100x more engaged and didn't give the ball away every time he touched it.

Yeah, he's young, blah blah blah. He looked lazy in his time this year. Lazy passes, lazy in coverage.

Don't care to ever see him play for us again.

I won't speak for everyone, but my desire to see Keita stems from the fact that he's not Vito Wormgoor.

This might happen anyway. Berry seems like the logical starter again for Zardes, Matan will give us fresher legs than the alternatives, and Keita might just be preferred at this point.

Regardless -- despite the long odds, they're not going to throw in the towel. The math says that if we win this match, we could potentially be within two points of the line.

We moved our seats to 107 (row 15) for this one. Going to take the chance to sit down and enjoy ourselves for the last couple of games. Like BWP and many others on our beloved Crew team, my knees can't take 17 home games anymore.

    I think Wormgoor is terrible.

There. I just made sense of it.

Keita is worse, thus the confusion.

My opinion of Wormgoor is lower than your opinion of Keita. We disagree.

Whatever. We're on the Hindenburg; I don't want to waste time fighting for a window seat.

Our heroes realistically need to win every remaining game and get some luck and have a couple teams above of us to poop themselves and fail and a couple teams below us to fail equally or more than we do.

    There is still hope.

We are not mathematically eliminated; only realistically.

    I smell a 1-1 Draw

Wormgoor will be 33 in a couple weeks, and has done nothing in his 2 seasons here. Theres nothing left for him to show us hes got. He has no future going forward with us.

Keita has been here for 3 seasons now and is only 21. Hes a homegrown so hes costing us basically nothing. He has a huge future ahead of him for us potentially. I know hes had just as many flubs and mistakes than he has highlights, maybe more....but 3 seasons deep into his tenure, he now more than ever should be getting a run of games to prove himself.

Even if you're clinging to hope that were making the playoffs, either player has an equal chance of sh*tting the bed. Might as well go with the one who may offer us something going forward.

It's crummy timing, being a workday, but if anyone happens to be in the area a few hours early, the Clippers are doing a blood drive in the visitors clubhouse from 10-4. They'll even give you a $5 coupon to use next season.

www.redcross.org sponsor code "clippers" to reserve your spot.

    Keita > Wormgoor

his passing is his only downfall i think with time he will develop that passing and avoid so many mistakes. He is also versatile enough to play outside back although he has to stay back when doing that. Don’t give up on him

So if the Crew loses they are definitely out regardless of anything else?

Not sure if it's mathematical elimination regardless but we'd be at 38 points with 2 matches left so max of 44. Several teams are above us with 43 and I don't think they can all lose out as some must play others. They all win tiebreakers vs us.

    So yeah.

    Heads up:

There's a Twenty One Pilots show at Nationwide Arena tomorrow. It's not sold out, but it's definitely something to consider in regards to traffic/parking.

    Way too complicated

Columbus will be eliminated from playoff contention IF:

    1. Columbus lose vs. Orlando AND
    2. D.C. win vs. New York AND
    3. New York City win or tie vs. Chicago
    or:

    1. Columbus lose vs. Orlando AND
    2. D.C. win vs. New York AND
    3. Miami win vs. Atlanta
    or:

    1. Columbus lose vs. Orlando AND
    2. New York City win or tie vs. Chicago AND
    3. Atlanta win vs. Miami
or CLB tie and other teams win:

    1. Columbus tie vs. Orlando AND
    2. New York City win vs. Chicago AND
    3. New York win vs. D.C. AND
    4. Atlanta win vs. Miami

Also note that the last game on the 7th is opposite a MercyMe concert at Nationwide, though there's a fair time difference with the Crew being at 3:30.
