Does anyone know the status of Kerry Zavagnin for tomorrow night's showdown with the Galaxy? I know he had to leave the last match with a pulled hamstring.

What happened to our LSNSoccer insider source who was attending Wednesday practices for a while? She usually had some inside nuggets of info. MLSnet.com hasn't updated the injury report list since 10/14/04.

I guess maybe at this stage most coaches are holding their hand pretty close to their chest until the kickoff whistle sounds.

You've go to know when to hold 'em
    Know when to fold 'em
Know when to start Khari Stephenson
    Know when sub.

Just checked MLSnet again. KZ is listed as questionable.

    = LOL

I already figured we'd start Khari at A-mid. But Kerry's played every game (except when away for the MNT) . . . who would be our choice for D-mid?
Maybe move Alex up and start Big Tiny at RB? Or how about 'Cisco Gomez?

When Zavagnin went out last week, Jewsbury moved back to cover his spot & Diego Walsh came on in Jewsbury's spot.

I would say Jewsbury would be in the role of D-mid. If I remember right, earlier this season, we were grooming him to eventually be a d-mid

Kerry will start Friday, even though he is not 100%.

Ironically, had KZ NOT been force to leave the game, JJ would not have been in that position to score the game winner.

    Wow, that's some first post!

Remember, J.J. fed that game tying goal from Kerry's spot and he scored the winner from Kerry's spot.

I don't remember it that way... but then... that ain't nothin' special.
Did J.J. really feed the "game tying goal"? Or, was it Simo?

Yeah, I actually thought it was from Zotinca.

    I knew it wasn't Jewsbury.
After reviewing my game photos... it was indeed Zotinca who laid that beauty into the box.

Eh, so it was. Alright big deal. But the game winner...I'm almost fairly kinda sure that was Jack. And THAT was after he switched to Kerry's spot.
