More shocking is Turkey's lineup. No Basturk and NO RECBER! Plus 5 defenders--a 5-3-2. Looks like they plan on packing it in and going for a counter.

4-5-1 with speed in Convey, Beasley, and Donovan... looks like we're playing for counter attacks.

It'll be interesting to see what Kirvoski plays... R Mid or withdrawn attacker with Convey on the right and Beasley on the Left....

I also wonder if this line up is actually it. I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce changes some things up.

I'm not really surprised - Bruce has said repeated ly that he wants to "sound out" new players here.

If this is the lineup, WOWSER.

First, methinks we would officially have the first ever DMB at right midfield. Second, show time Bobby.

It sends the message to me that Bruce is really going after Brazil.

Bocanegra is without a doubt our best defender. Mathis is probably our best striker next to Donovan.

Should be fun to watch this game.

Also, since we are so successful on the counter, got to love what Turkey has done with their bunker ball. Nice. I predict 0-0 with these lineupes. :)

My guess is Convey will tuck in behind Kirvoski in the middle and Beasly will play on the right side, he is a naturally right footed.

My guess based on the Matchtracker roster is this:

    .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Howard
    Hejduk .. .. Califf .. .. Berhalter .. .. Vanney
    .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Armas
    .. .. .. .. Donovan .. .. Convey
    Beasley .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Lewis
    .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Kirovski

Definitely using Kirovski as a holding forward, sending Beasley and Lewis into the corners or feeding Donovan and Convey on overlapping runs through the middle.

Armas acting as stopper roving in front of the back line.

    It could be scary.

I want to see video clips of this. If it works Bruce is a genius, if it screws up, Bruce is drunk.

What if it is a 3-5-2 with Hejduk on the right, Vanney left back, Califf right back and Berhalter in the center.

Then you have Armas and Convey in the center, Kirovski withdrawn, Hejdude on the right, and Lewis on the left.

Up top you have DMB and Donovan.

Or if it is a 3-5-2 with the above, but DMB on the left and Lewis up top with Dononan.

I have a headache. The Bruce is smarter then me.

According to match tracker, we have:
    4 Defenders
    3 Midfielders
    3 Forwards

Beasley, Kirovski and Lewis are all listed as F.

Also interesting is that these guys are on the bench for Turkey: Rustu Recber, Yildiray Basturk

That would be their no. 1 goal keeper and their top midfielder.
