I watched last weekends match against Chivas via FSC. I thought I caught a glimpse of a huge white star painted on the grass seating area behind goal at the HD center. First time I noticed it and wondering if this is a common graphic, or something to be integrated into our new global marketing image? At any rate I really liked it, thinking the idea of a star fits nicely into the image of LA and Galaxy theme. Perhaps it's subliminal marketing paving a way to familiarity and we'll see a new star crest on the Beckham kits arriving in July.
They did that last year for most home games but I don't recall the stars on the grass for the home opener on that Thursday night. I like the stars, I think they're a nice touch.
What you may not have seen is the huge [international NO symbol/goat] in between the two stars. Any one have a picture of that?
The grass hill also sported the Riot Squad's 900 square foot GOATBUSTERS banner in between the two stars. tm
It's details like this that make me homesick for the HDC. Watching LA v. goats just isn't the same on tv.
I totally agree, going to games at FCD don't fill my needs either... We should start a Galaxy Fans in Exodus fan club...
LARS has a Utahn, an Osaka guy, a Bostonian, a Chicagoan, a Minnesotan, a Salt Laker (Saltine? Sorry...), a couple Seattleites, a Portlander, a San Franciscan, an Albuquerquean, and possibly a New Yorker who regularly post on their boards. Recently about a half dozen Englishmen, a Scotsman and someone from just north of Hong Kong in China started posting. Wonder why that happened? If Zidane comes, look for a huge influx of French-Algerians in LARS.
Yeah there seems to be quite a few G's fans spread all over the place, there's a few of us here in Texas, and others that post on here regularly spread all over.
