I started following Arsenal when my family got cable and I started watching the PL. For whatever reason I started following this club, with their unique kit, their ground and, when Wenger became manager, the football. Fell in love with the entire package and the players that Arsenal would recruit to join this revolution.

There have been great times...and yeah, there have been times that I wish they showed that they were a great club. My love for this grand ol' club hasn't waned and, until the day I die, it'll never wane.

    COYG~!

Oh god, I'd think I'd lose it if Wenger showed up and raised that cup. It was him, David Dean and many others that were an integral part in modernizing the club to where it is today. Wenger raising the European Cup would be the final chapter in what he began to write when he was first introduced as our manager.

City hasn't lost a league game since January 17th against Man Utd. That's title winning form, only Bournemouth longer from Jan 3rd and who did Bournemouth lose to? Us.

Way too early, but my prediction next season is it will be between us, and both Manchester clubs.

    My personal Arsenal goals:
    - back to back titles
    - Champions league win before the decade is over (maybe 2)
    - a treble
    - before I die, we get back to most titles as we were for decades till Liverpool over took us in '76 Man Utd past us after their 2001 title I think, not sure.
We got number 14 now, maybe another 2 for the rest of the decade fingers crossed.

Congrats to all the faithful fans here. It has been a long time coming and I hope you enjoy the rewards of your loyalty. I just lurk in this forum these days, but I have certainly enjoyed the past four games and the run up to the title.

I lived in England from 73 - 76 and in my air force base rec league wore the red and white of Arsenal, so it was a foregone conclusion that I would grow into an Arsenal fan. I just don't watch the game much anymore. (I cover Virginia men's and women's basketball and women's soccer for an SI fan site, and that's about 100 games a year I watch for the last 12 years, and then have to write about. There's just only so much time in my calendar to watch games, and the Arsenal have been neglected by me.)

But I am very happy for you all!

    @Rewinder

    join us man. Celebrate!

we had bums like Troy Deenie talking shit

Lower level clubs partying at the carpet

We watched Mustafi, Squillaci, Vermaelen, Willian, Cech all these waste men. We had to sit and watch them. Unreal

seeing young careers irrevocably damaged like Ramsey, Wilshere, Diaby

Van Persie and Fabregas selling us out

Adebayor, Sagna, Kolo leaving for riches

We had to sit thru all of this and here we are. We are here! Champions of England!

I went from college to being close to middle aged with a family. All this time!

I was talking to my bro, when I was in college, EVERY GAME EVERY SINGLE BLOODCLOT GAME, he drove down from Bronx to Harlem at Columbia to pick me up and we'd head to the game. DO you mothafunkers realize HOW MANY BLOODCLOT GUINESSS IT TOOK for us to sit thru the fuhkeries?? HOW MANY???

My birthday EIGHT TWO EIGHT TWO ON THE TWENTY EIGHT OH MY GOODNESS!!

    WE DESERVE THIS!!

This life man, this life will teach you humility. Becaues there aint NO WAY that I would think man like Diaby, Ramsey, Cazorla, Wilshire, wouldn't taste Premier League Champion champagne, but man like Norgaard, Noni, just roll up ONE YEAR and BOOM CHAMPS!!

LORD JESUS OF NAZARETH THANK YOU!!!

    CHAMPIONS

I talked to my older brother, he said Bro I didn't think we'd see it in my lifetime. HALLLELUJAH!!

    CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS!!

    THANK YOU MIKEL!!

Take it from me - someone who first created an account on this website in the prehistoric days of 56K dialup and a pre-9/11 world - this is a moment to cherish. Raise a glass. Be safe. Enjoy.

Mikel becomes second youngest manager since Mourinho to win the league, and the first manager since Kenny Dalglish in 1990 to win the league in their first managerial job.

Trust the process indeed eh? Words that were frustrating at times, used mockingly at other times, but in the end vindicated.

Also Dowman takes the record for youngest Premier League winner.

I'm sure as more facts pop up I'll steal them from Reddit :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

In the meantime the clips coming out, people celebrating all over London including Wrighty who is celebrating out the front of the Emirates with heaps of fans.

1997 - 11 year old me, soccer mad and starved for access to watch it, just got the internet at home in Mansfield, Ohio. Sent emails to every club I knew with an website asking for information about them. Soton sent me a poster and sticker. Nearly every MLS team sent me a pocket schedule. Arsenal Football club sent me a box in the post with a match programme, poster of Patrick Vieira, a team photo, and a postcard with a picture of the Highbury pitch. The club chose me - some random kid with an AOL account in North Central Ohio.

Being champions didn't sink in at first . . . felt anticlimactic. Sitting at home this evening watching fan videos online and seeing Gooners around the world celebrating, and it's really sunk in. Finally even shed a tear.

I'm not a greedy sports fan. I don't need a dynasty. But I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of this.

JeffL is a legend! Got me a ticket to the 4-4 at Anfield. Well it was a junior ticket, which got taken by the staff. Then I almost got kicked out of the ground for buying an away ticket from a touter, but they heard the American accent and let me go lol. JeffL got me a refund and bought me a pint after the Boro game. Hope he's doing well!

What a journey though, guys. Like others have said, we came close several times post Highbury, but always fell short for whatever reason. Incredible job by Mikel and the boys (estandards!), super proud of this team.

I fogging love this club. Up The Arsenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
