He is OK for a substitute, for his versatility to play any position on the field...

SECAUCUS, NJ (February 1, 2008) - Red Bull New York announced today that it has waived whiny spectator Metz. Metz, who was never asked to bring his complaints about the club's message board in the first place, was interested in hating on virtually every player regardless of skill or performance.

Metz made an impact this offseason leading the BigSoccer boards in "Reyna Hate." Following the signing of a new contract by midfielder/defender Seth Stammler, Mets was quoted as saying, "He is OK for a substitute." With the recent speculation of a second New York franchise emerging with the backing of Metz's namesake (different spelling), he could be asked to take his complaints and criticism to the new Queens-based club.

Great move. From the run of play Stammler was one of the best defenders in the league last season. It's a shame he's so miserable on set pieces - hopefully he can improve that aspect of his game this year.

DAMN!! Just when I think we've stabilized as a fanbase, they go and screw around with our lineup!

Sure, Metz had his issues with spelling and grammer at times, but his insight and conviction were unmatched by all the bandwagon Reyna Haters. He called it as he saw it, and stayed true to the red white and blue of the Red Bulls. What's next? Are they going to bench Devil500? Waive Onionsack? Will Ag ever recover from the carpal tunnel syndrome enough to contribute at his pre-injury rate?

    I'm not liking this trend...

Extending Stammler is a very smart move. He only needs one shoe!
