Exactly what players need stamina? Isnt it just inner mids, or is it also wingers? I have this question because I dont know if i shuld start a more skilled weak stamina forward or an exellent stamina passable forward. Also, the reason my Passable PM passable W winger isnt playing so good is because he has weak Stam? I just need tyo know if i shuld waste goalie training doing another round of stamina
For the match ratings, it's only important for players that have an effect on midfield (that would be inner mids, wingers with pm, offensive defenders and defensive forwards). Forwards with very good stamina can also create chances against defenders with low stamina, the so called tiredness Special Event. Thing is, this doesn't happen very often, so I'd pick the better forward with less stamina.
I'm a playmaking trainer and usually do a week or two of stamina training in the offseason. Stamina training is a big held for inner midfielders and does have some benefit for wingers. I have to admit my main focus though is getting the inner midfielders high on stamina and I figure in the process my wingers will have at least halfway decent stamina. The bad part of stamina training is it often has a big negative effect on form. The last few years even one week of stamina training has had a big negative effect on my squad's form. This year it just feels like I'm getting good form back after the usual post-stamina training swoon. I'm thinking of skipping stamina training this offseason for the first time, as all my middies have fairly good stamina now and it'd be nice to not take the form hit. If you do want to train stamina, it's best to do it in an offseason week with only one game, as all players get stamina training regardless of whether they play that week or not.
