i can sometimes stall the ball on my foot i kinda know what to do but dose anyone have any tips that colud help me with stalling it on my foot.
It's all in the balance. All it is is a matter of trapping the ball and balancing it. I learned by practicing it a bunch, I don't have any real tips.
what do you mean by stalling the ball? You mean someone passes a high ball to you and you trap the ball on your foot so that it's motionless?
Do you mean stalling it as in trapping it with your shin and toe so it doesn't roll away and holding it in the air like that, or do you mean actually just getting the ball to stand still on your foot? Because I can do the first good. Not from a pass or anything regularly, but I can do it.
the chest and the forehead are the hardest. With the foot you cushion it and once you do that bring the your toes to your leg and the ball should trap itself in between the two. good luck
Pinching it between your foot and shin makes it very easy. Once you learn to do that, try doing it without putting it against your shin.
you need good leg control... When the ball comes down you have bring your foot down underneath the ball so it matches the speed at which the ball is falling...that's pretty much the basis of stalling
really, there's no concrete 'tips' anyone can give you about something like that... just practice and the perfect balance will happen...
