Stadiums in El Salvador

    According to this WSJ article they could be lining up to take over a port.

    It could just be they want more influence in the region. I have yet to see them build a stadium and not take something in return so we will find out in time

    We are not like Africa where they can take natural resources from us because we don’t have any, Honestly getting infrastructure investments from China while all we have to do is cut ties with Taiwan politically is a really easy choice for Central American countries to take since there is no one else that would be willing to invest in us.

    The only problem would be taking on loans from China that we would default on like their plans with the Belt and Road Initiative.

    That part scares me if the Chinese are helping build it. That usually means cut corners and considering we are an area susceptible to earthquakes that frightens me.
