Hey peeps, I've finally decided to book me and my 7 y-o son onto one of these 'ere stadium tour thingies. We're booked for the Wednesday 22nd October tour starting at 10:30am and when I got home from work tonight I told my son that we're booked on it.

My question is (and apologies because I'm sure this has been asked before) - is it good? I remember reading that the kids got to meet the mascots! Can anyone who's done one of these please enlighten me a little as to what we can expect to get out of this visit?

    Thanks folks. COYI !!!

Good: see the mascots, see the board room, players changing rooms, go pitchside etc

Bad, too much time spent pimping the hotel rooms

My tour included the club museum which is well worth seeing for the World Cup 66 stuff.

Maggie and I sat around the bar and asked the bartender if anyone could show us around for a bit. She got the head of security to come down and walked us through the dressing rooms, and out onto the pitch.

Nice fellow. Should put those pictures online one of these days.
