Have final sketches been made for the stadium? Has a construction date been set? Has a completion date been set? I worry about MLS a lot, and lately I have just been thinking about the Frisco Stadium quite a bit. I worry that if this thing doesn't get built quickly, the Burn will have eroded their fanbase too far to recover. If the Burn open the stadium and only get 12000 a game, I'm not so sure owners are going to be quick to erect other stadiums.
Not yet. Groundbreaking will be sometime this fall. It'll be done by Opening Day 2005. I have it on good authority that the Powers That Be have taken note of a great number of things that have gone right and gone wrong in Southlake and are using those lessons in their planning for the 2004 season in Southlake and in planning for the move to Frisco.
Re: Re: Stadium Questions from afar If moving out of Southlake is not an option, then all other lessons learned do NOT matter IMHO.
Re: Re: Re: Stadium Questions from afar Odd thing to say since the stated plan IS TO MOVE OUT OF SOUTHLAKE.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Stadium Questions from afar ya, know, pretty sure and somewhat obvious that he meant moving out for 2004 so you don't need to shout And I'd have to agree
I went to Stonebriar Mall and took a peek inside DP/7Up Ballpark the other day. Is the new football stadium going to be built in that area?
