Not far from downtown, and closer than the current stadium... Adjacent to Minute Maid Park surface parking.

A pretty night at Accrington's Fraser Eagle Stadium (The Crown Ground)... http://www.footballgroundguide.com/accrington_stanley/
Pictures from the Pirelli "Stadium" home of Burton Albion (in the Conference season before last). Very well-run lower-division club. Capacity of 6,900 (2,000 seated) P.S. Coach is Paul Peschisolido from Canada More photos here http://www.freewebs.com/tims92/og008burtonalbion2.htm
Some very nice Israeli small stadiums from an architect firm that seems to focus on sports faciliites. Highly recommended!! http://www.gab-arch.co.il/projects_main.html no Kop ends though
Watched Bayern at newly-promoted Kaiserslaitern on TV last night. 40k attendance and the stadium was rocking. Love the way the suites are put in the corners between the horseshoe and the grandstand - gets the $$ without damping the atmosphere. Fantastic arena!!
Aker Stadion of Molde FK, Norway. Capacity 11,170. Check the location in the last photo. It's absolutely unbeatable!!!
Another land-fill stadium - why not fill in the remain lagoon just north National Airport and put a stadium there?
Incredible. There are some more fantastic pics on Google maps -- I can't believe a town of 25k can support this.
The hometown richboy Kjell Inge Røkke paid for it. To fill it you need half the population of the town and sometimes it is full. it was allmost at capasity the last time i was there in 2005.
Here's a Slideshow of Russian stadia for the 2018 World Cup. Pretty nifty designs there, I think. But, since they're just artists conceptions, there's no fun stuff like estimated cost. It's Russia, though, so it's probably like $3 million in building materials and $746 million in bribes.
I thought this thread was started by the poster who teases the Stadium News and Speculation thread, but was too lazy to check. Why hasn't he been red carded?
Smallish (18K) stadium in Offenbach. Compact. Modest. Probably the best qualities in a stadium we can hope for at this point.
Brighton's Amex (Falmer) Stadium is ready for action... http://www.seagulls.co.uk/page/StadiumIndex/0,,10433,00.html Webcam - http://www.seagulls.co.uk/page/StadiumIndex/0,,10433,00.html
