Who knows who the team is going to use? Hell they might even get rid of CSC

As long as this saves the team from leaving the DC area, I am perfectly fine with it. Yes, it's going to be not nearly as awesome to live 10 miles away from the stadium instead of 10 blocks, but that's a small sacrifice to make compared to losing the team altogether.

This is definitely an interesting tidbit... though it's not clear that he means all revenue streams from these.

DCU has been getting a small cut of these streams for several years back.

To me all means ALL. DC United has historically paid monthly rent and got less than 10% of parking and revenues. If memory serves the rent was somewhere in the ballpark of $60,000 a game, maybe more as time went on. Then there was the switching back and forth of the baseball and soccer fields. The DCSEC paid for most of that but not all. They also paid for security.

That sounds right... I just don't see "all" in his quote which is why it seems a little unclear to me what he means.

    True, I misquoted. My apologies.

But I guess control means at least 50 + 1% and if they're putting up 1.2 mil their accountants must have figured a percentage that will have the team turning a profit. (for the first time ever??)

i stopped paying attention to the ups and downs of a new stadium for this exact reason

pg county was always going to be the spot

theres a reason the squire bought land out there for jack kent cooke stadium...there was a lot of it at a good price (read: nobody else wants it)

no offense (of course any time you say no offense you are about to severely offend people) but pg county ranks at the bottom of the local county list...and its not even close

i reserve the right to see what the tailgate area is like before i start complaining in full force

seriously though...youve got to be a big time pessimist to have ever thought they were really leaving...i mean i didnt even think that

pg county...now the home of two football teams that should be playing in the city
