Looks like they had already done a fair amount of foundation work, so that's not an unusual amount of progress with steel.

You know, we really don't need to see every ********ing picture of RB Arena going up; one would suffice for the point I was making. This is not an MLS stadiums thread, its a DC United one.

...and since there is no DC United stadium either on the books or, certainly, on the ground, instead of enduring the pain of seeing other people's stadiums, we ought to close this thread until there really is some news.

At least we haven't been shown pictures of RSL's nearly completed stadium or the renderings of the new Philadelphia one...for a team that doesn't even exist yet.

And that's probably because I resisted the temptation to do so.

I'm done rubbing salt into our wounds.

I just wish people would quit doing a Lazarus on this thread.

This is post #486. Can't you just put a lock on this and not start a "Stadium News" continuance?

There is no stadium news. None. Nada. Rien. Nichts. Ništa, Niente, Zip.

F**K that Fenty or Finty guy or whatever the f**k his name is. When is his term over? I read few interviews for him and the guy sounds like a complete moron. No f***ing clue how he's a mayor. I wish he'll get runned over by a VW car.

I enjoyed that link and the update from the Department of Redundancy Department.

    ----
As of Friday, August 22, 2008, 23 columns and 125 beams have been erected.

The construction is up to Level 3, which will be the concourse level. Level 1 is the level that will house the team locker rooms. Level Two will house the press level. And, Level Three will be the Concourse level.
    ----

So does anyone know on which level the Concourse will be on at RB Arena?

    in DC Stadium non-news,

Why do I keep clicking on this depressing thread? I think I'll wait until I see something in The Post about the results of the Maryland Stadium Authority study.

Then back to this thread for all the comments...until then,

    Why tease me with bumps?

Yeah, I realize this waste of a post is a slight bump, but if I'm going down I'm bringing somebody with me.

That did it. Violated my own resolve not to click on this.

As soon as I figure out how to, I'm unsubscribing from this crappy thread.

And Brooklyn Dodgers FC, if I weren't a Dodgers fan from when they actually played in Brooklyn, I'd have negative repped you for the bump.

Mods, can't we close this thread and then let someone with actual news about our mythical stadium start a new one?

    PLEASE?

I second this. Can someone move to accept the motion by acclimation? Hillary? Bueller? :)
