Is there any chance we can bump capacity a little next year? I look over at the permanent sections and wonder why they have aisles in triplicate. The extra aisle space must be at least 10% of the space over there. Could we add 6-800 seats over there? Could we add seats anywhere else? Maybe it's not worth it, for one season. Just wondering.
I'm not sure if we will be able to expand later in the season over 15,000 but peter told me next year for the first two regular season games only the east stand would be up with a 4,500 capacity plus some standing room, in comparison to this year where we had 10,000 capacity for the first two regular season games.This was because of some late track tournaments.
Ouch, that will be rough having just the East side for a few games next year. I have to laugh when I think back to earlier this season where everyone was always wondering what the stadium would look like for the next game.
Peter Wilt said we would start on the road again and have several road matches before our first home game in late april and our second home game would be the in the middle of may.
Except it sounds more like capacity will come all at once instead of in stages. So probably around 7000-8000 w/SRO for the first 2 matches during track season, 15000 for the remainder and 12500 when we hit football season again if Soldier Field is not complete.
