St Pauli keeps Gibbs

    St Pauli exercised an option on Gibbs and extended the contract. Questionable is the contract length - kicker states it is 2006, bundesliga.de says 2004. The contract is independent of the league.

    great news for Gibbs. I guess that means his game has improved.

    Thats what I figured since most options arent for 3 years.

    Right, at least if the contract already is as long as Gibbs' with St Pauli. Three years options aren't uncommon after a one year contract though.
