St. Louis signs nine more players, as we know http://acstlfanatic.wordpress.com/2010/02/11/ac-st-louis-signs-nine-more-players/
Agreed...just curious. I would love to see a local kid from SLU to make this team. imo the more st. louis blood on the team the better!
FW James McCarthy MF Steve Ralston MF Christopher Salvaggione MF Brad Stisser MF Wilfred Louizeau MF Troy Cole MF Manuel Kante DF Dillon Barna DF John Lesko DF Anthony O’Garro DF Tim Velten DF Zach Bauer Here's our team so far!
That man right there is an alumni of our U23 side. Hope yall give him a chance to shine, unlike the chowder heads in New England.
Dillon Barna is a great pickup for you guys. He was a part of the Ventura County Fusion team that won the PDL championship last year. Rock solid defender, good prospect for the future.
That would be one way to try to appeal to the boneheads who say scoring is too low in soccer to be exciting.
While that would be awesome if it would work, I bet there would be some serious scheduling issues with that. (April 17th, for a mild example) ^.^''
http://www.naslnews.com/2010/02/jack-traynor-signs-with-ac-st-louis.html Jack Traynor who played for Miami last year signs with us, St. Louis native
lol Signing MLS' all-time games played and goal scorer on the same team would look really good on our resume, not including that Ralston and Twell have played with one another for like forever! And oh yeah, "radio..."
lol All jokes aside, I think he would fit well, or at least I hope he would. We all know that he has blazing speed, but lacks the technical (I guess that's the best way to put it) skills on the pitch. Hopefully, all the time that he spent at Fulham and the loan to Cardiff last season has helped developed some those skills that he lacks.
I will recommend cuban Julio Cesar Maya, he played for the Cucuta in Colombia, Sevilla Puerto Rico and was in trial this year with the Real España of Hondurian First Division. He should be not that expensive and he is a solid player For more cubans players look in my blog http://futbol-cubano.blogspot.com
He's playing in Greece. There is another Eddie Johnson. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Johnson_(English_footballer)
