Bad news for Switzerland. Stéphane Henchoz will not play in the Georgia game. His injured right calf has just been operated on, and he will be out from 4-6 weeks. This creates problems in the back. Switzerland needs to get points from this game. I still think they will, but I would feel more confident with Henchoz back there.

That sucks - but I'm not worried. Murat Yakin and Patrick Muller did superb in central defence in the Ireland game...

Are the Swiss home or away?

Away, just like you guys. We already beat Georgia 4-1 at home...

    Ah.
It will be a tough game for both of us. I knew you had beaten Georgia 4-1, but I was not sure if it was home or away.
    Still, best of luck.

Indeed - but you guys get to test the waters first :D
Same to you. Together we can take the Russians...

I would love to see the Swiss and Irish qualify. I bet nobody thought that would happen when qualfying started. I looks better and better.

Hey pmannion, are you happy or sad that Keane will no longer play for the National Team? I imagine that Sir Alex Ferguson is not the most popular person in Ireland right now.
