Thor, many of us did not like the market for we saw no true striker and anyone to
Cmon Thor, we know he can't be blamed for Pluto.

As is, many of us DID NOT like the market. Many believed they were now 3rd best heading into the season. No true striker, and no depth in midfield, and as you can see, they've shown to be huge problems. Also, very achievable things pointed out by Richard go ignored by ADL. Where is the viable youth program and brand exposure? Why insist on owning imaging rights which keeps some away?

He has taken it upon himself to publicly ridicule his own players. Do you honestly believe that has not contributed to the rift that has now surfaced? His ego supersedes common sense. He's a child that needs a soapbox to be heard. In ritiro is a prehistoric practice that has shown what results recently? Is it the teams fault they are expected to overcome the obvious weaknesses left by the owner? Partly yes, they should be performing better, and Ancelotti should also be managing better. So players and manager do share some blame. Yet, it's like every major company, the CEO is responsible for placing his emplyees in the best possible position to succeed. ADL has not done that, and has taken it upon himself to further alienate his staff with condescending words. In the real world, these types of CEO's are forced to step down.

I can agree with a lot of this, because you put blame on the team and the coach as well, and that's the whole story. I, for one, thought it was definitely finishing that had cost us a whole lot of points. Moreover, as some have already pointed out in here, Carlo had spoken that he had been satisfied with the players before the season started. Once again, you may disagree with this absolute truth, as he had said it clearly, but I don't see how it is possible. To suddenly just blame it all on DL is totally unacceptable, no matter what he has done. And why in hell should I say FOK YA to the fans when the president does not like my asking for more money? Is that not an internal problem? If they want more money and the president is a dick, at first they should prove themselves, of which they have done the opposite so far.

My boss sts tells me shit even when I perform perfectly because in his stupid head he believes that's how he will keep me working for him. It's 10 times more stupid than what DL did, but the players are apparently made of sugar and they have every right to melt at the slightest amount of shit they have to take. I disagree with that, for then we can really just bend our knees, touch the floor, and suck their dicks. And as a bonus it will all be done for bad results.

Whatever, if that's how you all like it, then fine. To me they are people and people should be strong.

Thor, if an owner can't agree to pay what the athlete has valued his price at in the market, then you move on. No need to throw insults. Remember, he's paying peanuts for some of his players when compared to the same market in Serie A.

Meret makes 1.852. Donnarumma makes 11.111, and Szczesny 6.481, while Handanovic is at 5.926. Heck, even good old Peipe Reina makes 5.556 LOL. Lazio's and Caglaiari's keepers make more. Are you telling me they're all better than Meret. Maybe he should demand more and throw insults at ADL?

Fabian and Allan are making 2.7 and 3.7 respectively. Inter are paying the likes of Valero,Vecino, and Barella more. That is a joke. Maybe they should demand more and insult ADL in the process.

As a leader, you don't go insulting those you employee publicly, yet you try to buy everyone on the cheap yourself. It goes both ways. It's called negotiations. He's like a spoiled child who doesn't get their way, and then resorts to crying for all to hear.

I have nothing against that argument. I have said upon numerous occasions that DL is a dick, but from my point of view, so are the players and the coach. We could argue about this endlessly and bend it whichever way we damn well please. How many of our players are religious? Jesus said that it will be harder for a rich man to get to Heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. Yet they all ask for money more often than they show results. The problem is that I see hypocrisy everywhere and I refuse to chose one scapegoat upon whose shoulders I will impose it.

And why do you keep talking about the money all the time? To turn the argument against you, how many teams are there in front of us right now that whose players earn less than ours? Meret is a young boy to whom we have given the opportunity of a lifetime, and I guess for now even his agent is happy. Allan would not have been playing for Brazil now if it hadn't been for us.

The coin always has two sides, and we barely ever know which is the right approach in any situation.

I agree with you that blame is to be shared by all, but for me, ADL is the root cause of it.

It is. But it is also normal for the poor to rise up.

We are talking about a football club and this guy is exploiting it and we have had enough.

He needs to go. He is not liked by most fans and until he is there we will bot make a jump forward. We cannot continue like this. This club is run very unprofessionally.

With regard to the behaviour of the first-team squad on Tuesday night, the club announces that it will do everything in its power to protect its economic interests, assets, image rights and disciplinary interests.

The club would also like to make clear that it has entrusted first-team coach Carlo Ancelotti with decision-making responsibility as regards the first-team training camp.

There will be no more press statements for the foreseeable future.

    The supposed gentleman won.

Players’ chief Damiano Tommasi: “In Italy we have this strange idea that sleeping with our teammates makes us play better."

And now tell me that DL was in the wrong. He just wanted to give them the opportunity to go bouncy bouncy tgtr and they refused.

Conte appeared to undermine Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi when he said Inter had only signed players “from Cagliari and Sassuolo” after their 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

Now we are not the only team that has ever had trouble with talking. It happens. DL is probably angry and he has his stupid temper, but so far it looks like the situation has been stabilized. Who knows. But the results have not been so good, so we can't exactly fear changes rn...

ADL is responsible for where Napoli is. Most here predicted this was coming.

Oh my God. This is so funny. Anybody could have predicted that. You just have to be a pessimist and things have to go wrong. Your omniscience is really impressive, I'm out of here.

No. When you have a core of players for 6 to 8 years and they overachieve and come close and you refuse to invest or let them leave for more money and then verbally abuse them and don’t have a modern club structure and act impulsively then these things happen. This has nothing to so with pessimism. This was inevitable.

Yes, sts such things happen, and sts they are the conclusion of the causes which you have enumerated, and sts they are not. But if you want to be convinced beyond the shadow of a doubt, I can only leave you with this:
“The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him.”

Do you believe Napoli is professionally run and can improve further under ADL and become a truly great club?

The answer clearly is yes whether you wish to admit that or not. The better question is, will we see Napoli become a truly great club within the next 5 years when the foundations are already in place. We don't know.

You're very doom and gloom this season. Just calm down and relax and see what happens.

    Well let's go through the team;

Goalie - Meret (Could be Italy's #1 goalie and with his age 22 years old) he will only get better

Defence: Manolas and Koulibaly as cb partners could be devastating if Koulibaly wakes tf up. Di Lorenzo looks solid, we need an improvement at left back but Mario Rui and Ghoulam are serviceable.

Midfield: Potential generational talent in Fabian Ruiz. We need to build around him and I feel he would excel in a 3 man midfield rotation if a regista was brought in.

Attack: Yikes, for the first time in a long time this may actually be our weakest area. I saw glimpses of what Lozano could do, he's clearly a winger and doesn't know how to play as a striker. A proper striker is needed.

Thank you. You named Meret, Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Koulibaly and Fabian.

I think Koulibaly will leave. I agree with you we need to build around the other 4 players and I would include Zielinski.

Now tell me how we can do that?
Callejon and Mertens will leave for free.
    Allan for 40M.
    Insigne at beat for 50M.
    Ghoulam for free.
Mario Rui and Hysaj for 20M.

That is 110M. Let’s assume we sell Koulibaly for 100M (which I doubt given his performance this year).

So you want to buy 6 first team players and improve the bench (we need 3 wingbacks, 2 defensive midfielders, a registra, and 2 wingers/strikers) with 210M?

You call me pessimistic but I do some calculations before I post. The picture is bleak.

Simple, if 100mil does not arrive then Koulibaly stays. If not even 50mil arrives for Insigne, he stays. Mertens and Callejon may leave for free and we may sell them in January.

Regarding the cdm role, if not Tonali then Torreira who keeps reiterating that he is not happy in England with Arsenal and wants to come back to Italy.

He instantly makes a 4-3-3 work with Allan and Fabian playing beside him. He can easily be brought in for 30-40mil because with every interview he conducts he drops his price tag 5mil saying he is unhappy.

    Insigne - Milik - Lozano
    Fabian - (Torreira/Tonali?) - Allan
    Rui - Manolas - Koulibaly - DiLorenzo
    Meret

Okay so this is what the team would look like if we brought in a regista in January. I think the next order of business would be which position to strengthen between either Milik or Rui. The clear answer (in my opinion) would be Milik. I like Pinamonti (we will see him play against us in 30 minutes). Let's see how he plays against Koulibaly and Manolas, I won't expect much considering he will likely be left isolated.

Pinamonti and Torreira/Tonali would be my short term/long term goals for the team.

Tonali may now be out of our price range, but he has the potential to be one of the best and I hope ADL realizes that if we had both Fabian and Tonali running the show with Allan by their side we would have one of the most dominant midfields in the world.

Pinamonti is more a risk, but with Milik and Mertens (Unless he is sold) he will not need to be relied upon straight away and he can settle.

Here is the problem. Allan wants to leave and will be sold. So you need to replace him too. You then need 6 midfielders to make 4-3-3 work and we have 3. So 3 midfielders needed and you need a new coach as Ancelotti does not play 4-3-3.

You need wingers too. Who plays instead of Lozano as sub? And Lozano in the first team does not even convince.

Who replaces wingbacks when they are out?

There is just not enough money and the team you have is not nearly as good as Juve or Inter. So we have fallen further behind.

But I really would like to see who you would buy and sell and for how much and then show first team with the subs. Because I can’t see it happen and believed we relied on players for too long without replacing them.

But maybe you are right. But please show it.

I believe that Napoli has an identity and a squad of exquisite quality, with the likes of which any coach should have done better. Allow me to reiterate that I do not require it from you to exonerate DL, but you probably suppose him to have always been omnipresent/scient/potent as you obviously find no fault with anyone else and consider DL to be the manager of each and every portion of our work.

Anyone who claims that they had foreseen us so low in the table at the beginning of the season must be a story teller, albeit of fiction. Why do you need to be right so much? You may have foreseen that trouble will have been possible, but this is out of proportion.

Nobody is going to pay 100m unless they are desperate for a CB. All top teams other than maybe Barcelona do not need a good CB. Actually, I think K2's form has some how decline, along with the rest of the team. He is no longer his usual consistent self. But I dont blame him with what's happening in the club.

Nobody is going to come in an offer 50M for Insigne. His height and small physique makes it a tough sell to any team. However, we should just take whatwever we can get. The trust / relationship with Naples is broken beyond all repairs. He is never appreciated here so better for him he leaves.

Mertens and Cellejon will leave. I believe Mertens still have one or two more seasons left in him and he can still contribute. But ADL only cares and look at players as his investments so he will be forced out.
