Flo is at fault here. this is what happens when we do not reinforce our back line. Such a ********ing shame, this could have been avoided with proper rotation IF WE HAD ANY BACKUPS.
There was rotation with Tcho at CB. You are just venting about contact ACL. Just like Carva had terrible contact injury despite LV playing RB in some games. Ter Stegen and Barca midfield kid had ACL. They weren't rotated even, but that would be a stupid argument too.
What are you even talking about, guy came back from a long-term injury just half a year ago, if you keep overworking a player like this it's obvious he's going to get injured. Even Courtois who is a GK is having muscle relapses.
He said there was no rotation which is wrong as Tcho played as CB when Militao was rested. Militao was allowed to return slowly last season. It was his decision not to rest in the summer and play Copa America. VVD has started ever since returning from ACL. Same for Pepe in 2010, Xavi in 2006 etc. If Militao has to be treated as 3rd CB a year after ACL, he's a special case then.
Out for at least 12 months. Full ACL tear and partial tear of both meniscus. Really bad. Now we only have 1 proper CB. Tchouameni can cover... but the club needs to recruit. Should have spent the extra 10 million euros to get Yoro. As far as what's available, I'd look in Ligue 1 as the teams need money given the poor media deal. You can get a good one in the winter.
Yoro played 30 mins in pre-season and got injured for 4 months. Would have been a great addition to RM's sanitas list.
What rotation are you on about? The only time Tchouameni played at CB was when Militao was injured or had a knock. There was no proactive rotation here.
Again, the world doesn't work like that. He wouldn't necessarily be injured if he joined RM or another club. Every path/decision has a different set of consequences.
Yeah he's done. We all talk about how the ACL isn't a death sentence anymore but it's still an incredibly difficult injury to come back from and remain at the level you were before. He was clearly not doing well with a non-meniscus ACL tear the first time. It's going to be really bad for him.
It's ok, Alaba is the new signing. Tchouameni and Mendy can fill in where needed. Vallejo was a hero against City in 22/23.
Yeah, we have a saying here that goes something like "the pie ended up being more expensive than the casserole". Our refusal to shell out a few million more could really do a much larger damage.
He was "unavailable". Rotation is when you rest an otherwise 100% fit player. That didn't happen. Carlo barely rotates voluntarily.
PSG claimed they backed out of his signing due to structural damage found during medical. So yea, I wouldn't be confident about handling a guy like that given our medical history. RM even has a history of team doctors getting fired because players weren't happy.
That report was shot down by PSG as BS. We missed out on the guy because he chose money and not because we have Rasputin at Sanitas.
Wouldn't go as far as saying his career is over just yet, he's still young enough to bounce back and CBs rely on positioning more than anything else, but yeah I'm not exactly penciling him in as a starter next season either. Shame the club bottled the Yoro situation.
He wasn't 100% fit. Just like Fede and Rodrygo weren't vs Milan and played nonetheless. That's how Carlo rolls. Case in point: Rodrygo is out injured again. A rotation is when a fully fit player is rested. Carlo doesn't do that.
You can't project that. He got injured because Man U was playing a preseason game on a poor pitch and his foot got caught in a hole twisting his knee. The US pitches were straight terrible in the summer. Nkunku blew out a knee in the same way on a bad US pitch (Chicago) in the previous year. Madrid doesn't play in those games if the pitch doesn't meet certain standards.
Loic Tanzi is more reputed than Romano who pimps for player agents. I don't think he cooks up fake news.
