confirmed, curious if he'll finally become RB Salzburg #1 in Summer or continue to fail after 2-3 years of trying.

Ramaj would be a good addition to the Germany NT.

  7. You don't want in the NT selection in a key position someone who's still learning the ropes. If he's called on to jump in you want someone who has seen/faced it all and delivers.

problem with Ramaj is that DFB isn't gonna call up a non top 4 league GK.

Ajax keeper wants a sign for the youngsters
Diant Ramaj has established himself as number 1 at Ajax Amsterdam, and now a lot of things revolve around the question of which national team he wants to play for. He has three to choose from, his favorite seems clear, but he also criticizes.

It came as quite a surprise when Eintracht Frankfurt sold replacement goalkeeper Diant Ramaj to Ajax Amsterdam for a whopping 6.5 million euros in the summer. At first it looked as if the 22-year-old wouldn't really get a chance in Amsterdam, but that changed on matchday 9. He made his debut for Ajax in the 3-4 win in Utrecht - and has been between the posts for the Dutch record champions ever since.

With his achievements, he was also recommended for the kicker rankings of German football, where he was awarded the rating "Conspicuous" in the "International Middle Class". His achievements did not go unnoticed, the goalkeeper revealed that both Albania and Kosovo had already approached him to discuss whether he would like to become a national player - Ramaj was born in Stuttgart, but his parents come from Kosovo.

"I have to make a decision, but I don't want to do it too quickly," Ramaj told the Dutch newspaper "Algemeen Dagblad" and revealed that he had told the interested associations "that I need time, also because I hope for Germany and wait."

DFB should take other nations as an example
As a youth, Ramaj played for the DFB, playing for the U18, U19 and U20 teams. Since then, not much has happened in his international career. However, he is very critical of the fact that older goalkeepers, Manuel Neuer (37), Marc-André ter Stegen (31) and Kevin Trapp (33), were recently appointed to the national team. He would like the DFB to follow the example of other nations and rely on younger keepers, as the Netherlands does with Bart Verbruggen (21).

Ramaj doesn't claim that he should immediately become a regular goalkeeper in the national team; rather, he would like it "if Germany would also call up young talent and show the world that a new generation is coming."

He sees himself as part of this new generation, which is another reason why he has not given up hope of playing for international matches with the German national team. He doesn't think his own chances are that bad at all, after all, at a young age, he plays "for a top club" like Ajax, which, as he himself knows, is currently "not in the best shape" - Amsterdam is currently one of them after a catastrophic start to the season numerous mistakes, fifth place in the Eredivisie.

For Ramaj, one thing is clear: "Very few young goalkeepers have the opportunity to play for such a big club and gain experience." The 22-year-old openly admits that it is difficult for him to decide which national team he wants to play for. "My heart beats for both sides: I see Albania and Kosovo as my home, but I was born and grew up in Germany."

However, it clearly seems that he would prefer the DFB selection, because he also admits that if they decided against Germany, he would definitely not want to find out later that they were too "could have been a goalkeeper for Germany". On the other hand, he makes no secret of his inner insecurity, saying at the same time: "Maybe I'll wait in vain."

With Neuer and MatS in the team, I think as 3rd goaly is the only option. Without Neuer, I would also like to see Nübel get called.

2BL Kiel have gotten promoted to 1BL so 99-Weiner who is #1 will play 1BL next season for 1st time. 1st 99 GK to be in 1BL.

LOL, I recall I used to see him as 1st prospect at S04 but they never gave him a chance now look at him.

    so
-we got 93-M.Muller linked with 1BL Wolfsburg transfer where he's looking like future #1
-we got 99-Hoffmann who takes M.Muller 2BL S04's spot aka future #1, confirmed
-we got 00-V.Muller moving to Danish 1st, good chance to be #1
-we got 00-Plogmann who is linked with 2BL EB transfer
-we got 98-Schubert who is confirmed moving to 2BL Paderborn

I'm glad to see M.Muller to 1BL, as Wolfsburg was one of those clubs who plays foreign GKs for LONG Time. So if that adds German, I'll take it.

00 GK Fruchtl joins Serie A Lecce. Nice as they can't all play 1BL and its better if we have GKs branching out to top 4 league.

we have a SHIT TON of GKs from 02-onwards who are becoming #1 in 1BL-2BL. And on top of that with 00-Fruchtl (Serie A), 00-Mantl (Portuguese 1st), 00-Krahl (2BL), 01-Ramaj (Eredivisie top club) we also have GKs from 00-01 emerging in relevant pros as well. One could also add 00-V.Muller (Danish 1st) too.

Just noticed that if Fruchtl becomes #1 in Serie A. We will have #1s in 4/4 of the top 4 leagues.

00-Voll is contender to becoming 1BL Promoted Pauli #1, he's impressing in preseason.
    https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...en-voll-die-nummer-1-669cf5aa4b9ee64d3870c9b9

so between Fruchtl, Mantl, Voll, V.Muller (confirmed #1 in Danish 1st), Plogmann, Krahl (he's 2BL #1) are all 00 GKs who are on track to becoming #1s next season.

if Voll+Fruchtl manage to become #1 would be pretty big as that's 1BL-Serie A for them.
