Leno would have been good for Germany if he stops making mistakes everytime he plays. When it comes to NT performances, Trapp has been more impressive in his 2 caps. Although his PSG situation is not good at all and needs a move. Leno just needs consistency and he could be a decent 3rd option. It really is between Leno and Trapp for #3.
Ulreich leads the 1BL with clean sheets at 6 and with 50% of his games being clean sheets. 942120143118888960 is not a valid tweet id Under CA, Ulreich made so many blunders. Muller is another player who seems to be doing so much better under Jupp than with CA.
Markus Gisdol thinks about making a GK change for their lineup to Julian Pollersbeck, after HSV's struggles in the Hinrunde. http://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/t...burger-sv-gisdol-denkt-uber-pollersbeck-nach/
Robin Zentner shared the top match rating in Mainz's Pokal win vs Stuttgart. He made two key saves in the first half, and also stopped a penalty in the second half. http://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/dfb...entner-und-berggreen-54250514.bildMobile.html
Trapp to Liverpool... http://thekoptimes.com/2017/12/26/liverpool-offered-chance-sign-psg-goalkeeper-kevin-trapp/ if it does happen then Karius should leave.
Felix Wiedwald seems to be doing well in the Championship. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jumplist/weisseweste/wettbewerb/GB2 he's #4 on the clean sheets table but one has to take into account that #1-3 have played 7 games more than him. his clean sheets % is only 0.2 less than the best % of the league in John Rudy! if Leeds can continue their good form, we could have an EPL keeper next season. Currently in the playoff spots, but only 5 pts away from the direct EPL spots.
Fortuna Düsseldorf have called up U19 keeper Maduka Okoye to their winter training camp. https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/maduka-okoye_18564/nimmt-am-fortuna-trainingslager-teil-234672/
U19 NT keeper, Niclas Thiede will be transferring from Bochum to Freiburg this upcoming summer. https://www.transfermarkt.de/u19-na...t-von-bochum-zum-sc-freiburg/view/news/297164
RB Leipzig have reportedly sent scouts to watch FC Hallescher's Tom Müller. The 97-born has featured in 13 matches this season in 3.Liga, conceding 15 goals. He also has 5 clean sheets. Decent figures for a younger keeper playing for a club who are technically in the lower half of the table. https://www.ligainsider.de/tom-mueller_11033/unter-beobachtung-von-rb-leipzig-235828/

Looks like Julian Pollersbeck has been improving his work ethic and could soon get his chance to step up. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...27/artikel_ohne-walace---mit-pollersbeck.html

14 - Only Philipp Tschauner (Hannover 96) has kept more clean sheets (16) in the 2nd Bundesliga 2016-17 than Julian #Pollersbeck (14). Promotion. pic.twitter.com/WNLVfSUVrp— OptaFranz (@OptaFranz) January 12, 2018
Daniel Mesenhöler has done well during winter training camp and could get the chance to be Union Berlin's starter when the second half of the season resumes. http://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/union-berlin/unionsstartplaetze-54468496.bildMobile.html
it's meaningful in that Tschauner was 31 last season while Pollersbeck was 22 and he had the 2nd most clean sheets in 2BL last season which by the way was his 1st 2BL season of his career. And today he played his 1st 1BL game allowing only 1 goal, which I read he didn't make any keeper mistake in the goal conceded.
Loris Karius is starting his 4th EPL game of the season vs.......Man City. if he impresses this could be the chance to stake his claim at #1.
although mixed performance vs Man City. Karius seems to be Liverpool's #1 going forward. https://www.thisisanfield.com/2018/...-loris-karius-liverpools-new-no-1-goalkeeper/ well now his chance to really stake a claim, needs to perform moving forward.
