Tigges I believe is fit again but not ready and Baumgart is known to be obsessed with you be 100% ready. Koln also linked with 2BL Tietz too. last 2 are discussions for youth thread. This thread is for anyone who isn't U21 eligible. Basically for ones who are full on pros aka established players. but to answer question, Weiper is nowhere near 1st team but getting close. Mainz trend is usually 1 HANDFUL of caps in 1st season and goes from there. So if he plays this season will only be a few caps and no more. Mainz also has Schmidt they like too. as for Moukoko, Modeste is only for 1 year contract. You can't expect Moukoko to start every match, its not realistic so it makes sense. Also imagine 1-2 get injured then you have to really on average Swiss Fink from II who didn't impress in preseason. Next season will be focus on Moukoko-Haller.
96-Undav made his EPL bench debut for Brighton, soon will make EPL debut. 96-Pfeiffer made his 1BL bench debut for Stuttgart, also soon another debutant
I feel for Kruger its typical, he's fast=perfect vs tired legs. But if someone goes injured would be 1st up in XI. I suspect won't go back both them and Furth look nowhere near promotion after relegation. Serra needs to hit double digits in 2BL at MIN. If he does going back up is option. A lot of foreign CFs aren't panning out in 1BL and they cost more than cheap 2BL CFs. 2BL CFs drawing a LOT of interest from mid-to bottom 1BL clubs. Pieringer if he keeps it up could also go back to 1BL too. Only on loan.
12 to 15 goals should be a good target for Serra to aim for Yeah, Bielefeld and Fuerth aren't giving off a vibe of clubs capable of bouncing back up right away. Schalke and Werder had better planned squads in place. And sometimes you just need luck along with several other factors. Just like how long HSV and Hannover has languished down there. Along with Nuernberg who do a lot of things well but have kept being on the outside looking in continuously. Would hope that Daferner, Wintzheimer and Shuranov with another year of development can get them past the hump though Pieringer could be interesting. That's why I didn't mind him getting loaned to Paderborn too much. He played a lot of rotation spare part minutes last season for Schalke. And him getting a proper full season to establish himself in 2BL is more important at this stage than likely being a spare part player again for Schalke
Dietz played 85 min today. Did well as a wall player which opened up space to others, was complete nuisance to Schalke's defense, knew how to use his body and movement was good. Wasn't far off from scoring too. Needs to improve in certain areas but can only do that with playing time.
Jonas Arweiler scored his first Austrian league goal for Klagenfurt He previously also scored and had 2 assists in a league cup match vs a lower level opponent
good to see him making his EPL debut. Also used ahead of Frenchie of same age Maupay, LOL. still surprised Turkey hasn't poached him.....
at this point, Tietz, Arweiler (for fun Abrod Adventure, he's next Gen Thy, LOL), Reese and Eckert are only 97s of any worth,
Jan Thielmann: “Congratulations to Florian Dietz, he made a huge game. The trainer prepared us well for the fact that Modeste would suddenly not play. He addressed the collective and the collective convinced again today. So we want to continue down this path now.”
Thy has carved a decent niche of a career. Not particularly prolific in scoring until he reached his 2020-21 season with Sparta Rotterdam. But overall, as shown himself as a solid ambassador of the game of sorts. He's generally well liked in the Netherlands and has started a family as well. Now in the Dutch division but seems like a mixture of reasons. Including them giving him a 3 year contract even though he's 30 y.o now, along with perhaps some sentimental factor as he's been with Zwolle before Tbh I don't necessarily rate Eckert until he shows his worth. There's also Teuchert, who's not great but can be an adequate 2BL level striker given the chance. Iyoha could've been reasonably productive, but injuries and health conditions have ruined his past couple seasons and is uncertain if he can get back to where he used to be
Fuellkrug left the match on Saturday for Werder with a thigh muscle injury. They haven't given him the all clear yet as he needs more time to recover. They're currently uncertain if he'll he ready to face Stuttgart next https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/n...bangt-um-einsatz-von-niclas-fuellkrug-324597/
I don't rate any of them. Tietz is probably best of bunch but hasn't had a good start this season. As for Eckert is main issue is how injury prone he is but at least showed something in 2BL.
Whether or not they can reach close to the same level of accolades is another story, but one thing about Undav's development story is that he's opening up doors for more lower tier strikers from the German leagues. Belgian clubs are doing more bargain hunting in hopes of another surprise development breakthrough. Apart from Eckert, USG have also signed a Swedish striker Gustaf Nilsson from Wehen Wiesbaden. And Eckert's former Ingolstadt teammate, Fatih Kaya has joined St Truiden Although, this strategy is nothing new though. As Jesaja Herrmann was also signed by Kortrijk before being loaned to the Dutch 2nd division for this season. And there's other position players like Nick Baetzner doing well
problem with that is them going for mediocre CFs Eckert=Kaya=Herrmann=mediocre better CF prospects seem to never leave Germany. They would rather 3rd Liga than 1st Abroad, annoying but true. Herrmann's Dutch club is has an ex Wolfsburg guy who works at club and NAC has purchase option. That's pretty much flop transfer unless NAC goes up to Eredivisie.Herrmann has done nothing as pro wasn't even convincing in U19 either. His whole adult career so far....meh. Also looks headed to Ghana NT too. Herrmann is good example of issue with big/physical classical CF. Although I do appreciate such CFs, its also factual that most of our big and physical CFs just aren't that good. On top of Matanovic bailing. Just leaves with majority of our most promising being non-big and physical.
Yeah, it's typically mediocre strikers who go abroad. That or ones that have already been poached by another nation like Tosun, Demirovic, Dadashov, Guven Yalcin, Kutucu (although loaned back to 2BL), etc Most of them are pretty mehh as well. But how someone like Gedikli does in the future would be interesting to see though. Still within the German youth NT circle but being in the Turkish league puts him into the sphere of their federation's influence
but what all of them show is chance to skip 3rd Liga-RL level. That is waste about staying in Germany is roting at that level. I think Gedikli getting poached not helped by Kuntz being coach. Just don't see U21 calling up Turkish 1st CF.....they are more likely to go 2BL over Turkish 1st.
Berisha needs to gtfo of Fenerbahce asap He subbed on and scored the final goal today to help them equalize and finish 3-3 vs Umraniyespor, a club with the lowest market value in the Turkish league
I think Moukoko developement is encouraging. At 18 he can play a lone forward for Borussia Dortmund and play very well. Of course sometime he try to dribble through defenders too many times but That is a good trait of superstar. Hope he keep it up and score some goals this early of this new season to build up his confidence. Maybe he will get a surprise call up for WC 22.
Eckert subbed on to play like 7 mins for Union St Gilloise in their loss to Rangers in the CL qualifiers USG will be transferred over to the EL group stages though
Eckert is a weird one, -brokethrough La Liga with 7 caps from II team. Which is an accomplishment -then Eredivisie, 2BL-3rd Liga=a lot of injuries but has shown is min 2BL level -now made CL debut, still not huge of him but still did some things more than a lot of others.
Eckert had a connection to Celta Vigo because his mother was from that Galicia region of Spain. He wasn't particularly productive though even with their reserve squad but was several years younger at that point He's shown to be better than 3BL level and okay/mediocre on 2BL level but was a member of Ingolstadt who were one of the worst teams last season Still a pretty mehh player overall that needs to substantially prove himself but could carve a niche of a career for himself if he can put in the work and get some fortune going his way
Andreas Vogelsammer is on the verge of moving to Millwall in the English Championship https://www.transfermarkt.de/-bdquo...union-kollegen-verabschiedet/view/news/409322
https://www.footballfancast.com/lee...or-orta-fenerbahce-rb-salzburg-premier-league Omar Celikbasli has dropped an update on reported Leeds United transfer target Mergim Berisha. In a recent interview with MOT Leeds News, the SPOR journalist revealed that, following reports of Victor Orta submitting a €2m (£1.7m) bid for the Fenerbahce centre-forward, the 24-year-old is also considering a number of offers from unnamed German clubs alongside the Whites’ proposal. The reporter went on to state that whichever club can convince the former Germany under-21 international of their project, along with tempting the striker with a decent salary, will most likely be the winner in the race for his signature this summer, with Berisha set to make a decision on his next move soon. Regarding the Fenerbahce attacker’s current situation, Celikbasli said: “There are also offers from Germany for the player. The club that convinces the player about the project and salary will complete the transfer. But he will be making the decision soon.”
