-Old man Terodde seems headed to HSV in 2BL.
-94 CF Mamba who did well in 1BL last season for relegated Padeborn scoring vs numerous top clubs and this is from a player who came from 3rd Liga. Looks like Koln is interested in him according to kicker so could stay in 1BL.

"We can't get an infinite number of newcomers. And that's why we're dealing with players who can not only play in one position," said Sports Director Horst Heldt. Mamba himself should also be able to imagine a move to the cathedral city, as he sees the FC as "a good address" according to the report.

94 CFs in terms of relevant seems like
-Holer (1BL), career 2BL-3rd Liga player until moving to Freiburg. Didn't do that well in his 1st season but got better and better and did well last season which was his 3rd in 1BL. Streich seems able to make lower level CFs into 1BL level.
-Mamba (unknown if 1BL or 2BL next season), career 3rd Liga and lower player who was picked up by Paderborn and did well on his way to scoring twice vs Dortmund, once vs Leipzig, once vs Bayer. Pretty good 1st season in 1BL, not surprising that Koln is interest scoring 5 goals and 2 assists for worst club in league is good and flexible player.
-Srbeny, another career 3rd Liga and lower who barely used when he finally moved up in 2 season in Championship as Norwich got promoted to EPL. Last season he scored once in EPL vs Everton while only playing 39 min then moved to Paderborn in 1BL where he scored 5 goals and 2 assists for worst club in league. Pretty good for a Winter player. Makes you wonder if he would have hit double digits in 1BL had he played entire season? Next season in 2BL it seems if he does extremely well could end up back in 1BL in 2021.
-Ducksch, struggled in 1BL but did well in 2/2 2BL seasons including last season. Was also 2BL top scorer in his 1st real 2BL season when he was 23/24 which is still a career achievement. If he can get another good 2BL season could end up back in 1BL in Summer 2021.
-Glatzel, did well in 2BL, even scoring hat trick vs Bayern in DFB Cup. Could have done better in Championship and barely missed out on EPL promotion. Wonder if he ends up in EPL at some point or not???

    2 things
    1-None are Senior NT prospects
2-It's interesting that Ducksch was only German YNT from this list. Like all the 94 CFs picked for YNT never made it anywhere, sure Yesil/Quaschner got destroyed by injuries but this is still end result.......and the ones ignored as they played in minnow clubs are the ones who made real career progress, lol. One can't predict these things. This is one weird ass age group for CF.

to me it doesn't matter if players are Senior NT or not. You still want to produce players for 1BL regardless. Besides the bit players Schneider and Schimmer in 2BL. The remaining 94 CF seems like they are 3rd Liga and lower.

still who would have figured years and years and years ago that some dude called Lucas Holer would be the 94 CF who plays the most 1BL.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

if one looks at 95 it's basically,
-Selke, Did well at Bremen the 1st time but once he switched to Leipzig feels like he was never the same again and some injuries didn't help either. Has had 2 consecutive bad seasons in 1BL.........needs redemption next season. Was pretty good for dfb youth, winning U21 Euro as XI and U19 Euro and Silver Medal at Olympics.
-Kleindienst, feels like wasted potential. Has played 1BL where he had bad luck hitting too much post. Played a good season in 2BL only to switch to Belgium 1st division, boring move, although his club will play CLQ next season. There were some coaches in Germany that said that he's 1BL material but needs more time. Now we won't see him in higher than 8th league in Europe for awhile. Wonder if he succeeds does he return to Germany for go to other top 4-5 leagues?
-Weydandt, Came from like 7th division before moving eventually to H96 II where he jumped to 1st team. Has done well in 1BL and 2BL and although 1BL clubs were interested he choose loyalty to H96 over career progress......yeah what a waste.
-Kopke, has been at Hertha for 2 years. He's weird one, in limited 1BL games he shows promise but he barely plays and isn't relevant either. Even his Hertha stats are like goal/assist every 98 min. Seems like a dumping candidate. He's already shown himself to be better than 2BL-3rd Liga. Would put him in Ducksch boat, better than 2BL but maybe not 1BL. Maybe should consider abroad instead of more 2BL.
-Palacio Martinez, he's a shrimp at 1.7m tall and one who has played 1BL, 2BL and 3rd Liga but never did do much anywhere he went. Wonder if he's one of those players where German league doesn't suit him?

that's it for the ones who played 1BL. Lohkemper hasn't done jack shit his whole 2BL career seems like the only other one who's even 1BL-2BL, everyone else seems like 3rd Liga and under.

    Prognosis,
1-Another not so good age group for CFs, lol.
2-Only relevant ones are the 1st 3, in Selke, Kleindienst and Weydandt. But so far none are doing jack shit. Selke needs comeback season, Kleindienst needs to play higher than Belgian 1st division (hope he does well including Europe) and Weydandt needs to play 1BL not 2BL loyalty stuff.
3-Another with very very likely 0 Senior national team prospect. Selke had best chance of that but his crash and burn doesn't help. Turns 26 next year, will he emulate the NUMEROUS German CFs who get Senior NT call up late 20s/early 30s or the more realistic 0 call ups end result. With wave of next gen CFs coming up. Might make more sense to focus on them.....

I wouldn't do 97-onwards, 22 (some 97 still have 4 and a half months to turn 23....)/23 is still young enough, you get a clearer picture when they are basically mid-20s-onwards.

    93,
-Fullkrug, 1BL player and does well when he's not injured.....
-Hofmann, Big Phil, wasted 3 years for dumb move to Championship. Even wasted another season in 3rd Liga. Last season was his breakthrough in 2BL season where he did really well. Was linked with 1BL clubs but I guess he plays another season of 2BL 1st. For older CFs there should be consistency and not 1 season wonder.

    That's it.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
    Basically Fullkrug or nothing.........

for 94 there is also poached by Turkey Karaman but eh.

on another note is there no interest in Hennings? His 1st legit 1BL season and he was 5th top scorer in 1BL. I know he turns 33 in 10 days but a 1BL club could have used him and signed him for like 1-2 years. I mean Ibisevic continued playing until like 35-36.

But Hennings shows that some could end up like him. Meaning that they could end up in 1BL late 20s/early 30s. Fact is there isn't a huge difference between 1BL and 2BL. If you have no physicality issues and have real pro experience, career 2BL players could perform if given the chance. I mean 94-Glatzel scored a bloody hat trick for 2BL club vs Bayern in dfb cup. But he's daft instead of going to 1BL when there was interest he went to Championship. I never understood why so many 2BL players go to Championship? Like 2nd division to 2nd division, what's the point? Unless they pay is higher there is no valid reason for any such moves.

-Looks like Terodde is leaving 1BL Koln and moving to 2BL HSV. He's better than 2BL and has done reasonably well in 1BL but everytime it feels like during 2nd season in 1BL club lose interest in him and he ends up back in 2BL. But HE's THE GUY you want to help with 1BL promotion. No way Koln is in 1BL if it wasn't for Terodde trashing the competition in 2BL.In fact Stuttgart and Koln both got promotion to 1BL because of him. Would be hilarious if after 3 years, HSV finally gets promotion. He's very close to becoming 2BL all time top scorer. Still an admirable career record achievement. And he's tied as most 2BL top scorer for season with 3 wins. One more and he's the player with most top scorer in 2BL.

-Kopke is linked with Barnsley in Championship and FCN in 2BL according to kicker reports.

    after looking at 93, 94, 95 now it's time for 92.

    92
-Thy, terrible everywhere he went bar Eredivisie where he found some success. Didn't pan out in 1BL or Turkish league.
-Volland, has done really well in 1BL!!!
-Girth, career 3rd Liga-RL player who's past 2 years has been in 2BL but eh.....
-Thomalla. career 2BL player (with RL) who's played average at best at this level. And who played handful of 1BL in past too.
-Zolinski (currently clubless) one lucky dude he seems to be more 2BL-3rd Liga level. But played HR in RL to then moving to Paderborn in 3rd Liga.......so lucky, next up Paderborn wins 2 promotion in 2 years and he lands in 1BL, LOL. Had 3 goals and 2 assists in 1BL. Curious to where he ends up.
-Voglsammer, career 2BL player who will play his 1st ever season in 1BL as he played big role in helping AB get promotion.Injured himself in Summer camp so seems like he's out until September 30. Will be curious to see how he does in his 1st ever 1BL season.

    Prognosis,
1-another terrible age group for CFs
2-with Volland only relevant one and actually played dfb. Funny part is that he got better as the years past by. So although he didn't impress in past with dfb who knows if he would do better since he has become a better player. Low will never recall him since he doesn't do recalls, he just moves on.
3-Voglsammer seems like the only other guy with relevance career wise.....not for dfb.

92 and 93=both only 1 relevant player and that's it.

1-update on Terodde confirmed. Will he get HSV promoted after getting Stuttgart and Koln promoted, LOL.

    2-update on Kopke,
After two mixed years with little play, Pascal Köpke will leave Hertha BSC with a fairly high probability. The favorite to sign the versatile offensive player is said to be 1. FC Nürnberg.

Berlin wants to sell Köpke despite the 2022 contract. The club prefer to borrow it. England second division Barnsley is also interested. FCN coach Robert Klauß (35) enthuses: "Pascal is a great player, but there are a lot of rumors."

    The big problem
However, Hertha's demands on the transfer cause problems. The Bundesliga team wants to give Köpke a permanent fix, Nuremberg only lend it So it can at least not be ruled out that Barnsley still has a chance to secure Köpke's right to play. After all, the championship club has significantly greater financial opportunities than the traditionally sewn-to-edge 1. FCN.

Köpke, who missed the last training session in the capital due to a thigh injury, never really took place at the BSC - 13 competitive games in two years are and were not very beneficial for the development of the Hanau native, who showed good appearances in his few appearances. His career could get a new boost at his training club.

94-Mamba seems like he's returning to 1BL at Koln. Well at least it means 2 94 CFs will be in 1BL next season. Now if only Ducksch and company can go up in 2021.

    Heldt confirms second offer
    1. FC Köln can't spend much this summer due to the corona. Therefore, the management is geared more towards the category of players like Streli Mamba. For the top performers of SC Paderborn, the FC had initially offered less than one million euros - and was rejected by the Bundesliga relegated.
"Streli is a different type of player than our other strikers, so it would fit very well," said FC planner Horst Heldt in the "Express", making no secret of wanting to bring Mamba to the Geißbockheim. The Cologne-based company has since made improvements and submitted a second offer. "We have submitted a second offer, but we have not yet received an answer," explains Heldt during the drive to the training camp in Donaueschingen.

    Just a fit striker
The two clubs may agree soon. Thus, Mamba's rumored change to the Italian second division club AC Monza would be off the table. In order to keep the training quality high, a new striker has to be found as soon as possible.
Simon Terodde's move to Hamburger SV has now been officially confirmed. In addition, there is the injury problem around Anthony Modeste, who did not even travel to Donaueschingen, but instead went to a specialist in Munich. The Frenchman has been complaining of knee pain for some time.

Thus, for the time being, FC trainer Markus Gisdol only remains Jhon Cordoba as a fit player in the ninth position. The young Jan Thielmann, who played as a center forward in the last test matches, is more likely to be located on the offensive outside. A mamba transfer would come in handy for FC.

Waldschmidt making the move to Benfica and getting called up to the NT is an important development to follow IMO. Really hope he does well over there. A competitive squad that's expected to fight for the league title and is also in the CL.

Kinda deja vu but another make or break year for someone like Füllkrug. Age wise should be in his prime but injuries have been the bane of his career. Apparently Selke has to play another year in Werder Bremen on the loan so could be interesting how that turns out, although he sucked badly last season.

I've always liked Mark Uth but I'm not sure how his club situation is gonna turn out or whether he gets any chance at NT relevancy so we'll see.

    Some updates,
-95 Kopke officially moved to 2BL FCN who seem to be building an interesting team.
-95 Mamba's move to Koln failed due to medical check finding out he's injured so deal was canceled as Koln didn't want a player with unknown down time.......yikes what a waste.

-94 Ducksch is linked with PAOK in Greece 1st division, lol if he goes there. They ended up in 2nd place so going for CLQ and supposedly he can see himself go there according to report......

also Volland moved to Monaco in Ligue 1......

-Undav in Belgium 2nd division with 2 XI both 90 and 0/assists with 4 pts for the team in start of new season.
-Kleindienst seems like a bust in Belgium 1st division.
    0 goals/assists in 4 games for 301 min

although if one is fair the entire club seems to be under performing from CL club to bottom team. They've only won 1 game out of 5 and only scored 4 goals, lol.

-A 96 CF Lokotsch in Scottish 1st division, lol. From RL CF to 1st division club.

On his Scottish 1st division debut aka pro debut he played 80 min and hit crossbar.

of course none of these are relevant to Senior but in terms of exporting only doesn't look good if they flop. Although end of the day our better CF rarely leave Germany anyways.

Undav and Lokotsch are no name players on no name clubs so I wouldn't look too much beyond that.

How Kleindienst does this season for Gent this season would be interesting to follow though. Especially as a striker who did reasonably well in 2BL last season. Gent are struggling this season as they haven't looked too competitive since selling Jonathan David. Ultimately, whether the team picks it up eventually and how Kleindienst does later will be evaluated though.

I know they are irrelevant but in terms of exporting CFs it's still relevant. Germany's recent CF export track record is let's say garbage. Lokotsch hit crossbar in game 1 and assisted in game 2 in 2-1 loss.

I mean Glatzel and Kleindienst questionable if they even do well abroad. I prefer not but we could be headed for more flops abroad.

The unfortunate pattern is that German strikers who move to the English Championship (or clubs that bounce between first and second divisions) end up struggling and wasting time there. That's been the case for guys through the years like Proschwitz, Hennings, Polter, Hofmann, Quaner, Srbeny, etc.

Hennings came back to Germany and has had some solid seasons with Düsseldorf in the later years of his current career. Srbeny actually did relatively well with Paderborn but they were relegated. There's time for time to make his way back to 1BL one way or another though if he does well consistently. He's already showed himself as someone who can score better on that level than Ducksch.

Once we move past the old guard of Klose and Gomez, the only other notable German (produced) strikers that did well abroad in recent years are Uth, Mlapa, and probably Demirovic. Uth took a few years to find his footing in the Eredivisie but was able to make his way in the Buli. Mlapa was actually an efficient scorer as well over there but the club sold him to a Middle East club right away. Although he's well liked in Holland, I wouldn't really say Thy has been that good for Eredivisie standards.

Not going to include guys like Berisha, Ache, and Nmecha as they weren't players that necessarily developed in their formative years within the German football system.

what sucks about that is how they waste 1-3 years for nothing and then end up back where they started in 2BL or even forced to go to 3rd Liga. Seriously not worth it and outside of $$$ don't get the logic of 2BL to Championship moves anyways.

feels like there are 3-4 94 who are doing better than Ducksch too who's level seems to be 2BL. Although would like to see him try 1BL again but that would likely be his last chance there.

Big Phil Hofmann is currently linked with Union Berlin.

Common theme seems to be German strikers in their early-mid 20's in 2BL who head over to the Championship and waste time. The other reality is that some of
them just weren't good enough like Polter and 2BL is their level anyways.

Speaking of which, this is another make or break year for guys like Platte. His teammate Seydel as well, but I've been more doubtful of him from the start.

Would like to see more young players move abroad like Demirovic, who was known as a prospect but not necessarily too highly touted, and end up making a name for themselves and finding a way to earn a spot in the BL.

Seydel is just extremely tall and physical and that's it. It's been speculated that his 2m tall is reason why he's always injured his body is too big.

yeah I'm in the same boat I want to see more German young CFs leave Germany but most don't. They seem insistent on making it in Germany. What's the point of playing 2-4 years in RL just to end up in 2BL-3rd Liga and by the time your in 1BL your already mid-20s. Demirovic is only 22 and jumped to 1BL from Swiss league. 1BL clubs buy foreign young CFs from 1st division ALL the time too.

that a mediocre CF like Arweiler is having success in Eredivisie at Utrecht and was loaned out to another Eredivisie club this season. Does tell you that it's easier to breakthrough 1st division abroad in smaller leagues. And then easier to show your skills/worth and attract higher attention. Although Arweiler is someone who if they return to Germany likely end up in 2BL.

would like to see someone like Nieland move abroad for example instead of spending more time RL.

he had a few starting appearances earlier but didn’t quite deliver . But fans said they like what they saw from him as a targetman, but maybe he just need to score more goals now

he had a hard time adapting, he was injured and had an operation when he joined Gent. So he didn’t practice much with the team during the summer. Expect better performance When he finds his fitness .

think he rushed his comeback too much

It’s incredible that with the size of Germany’s football population (it’s still very big)

you cannot train a striker who is prolific and have an allround game.

The new gen, u feel lucky if they can score more than 8 goals a season, that’s not enough. No one can shoot with both foot efficiently, make good headers, win duels after duels and strong hold-up game

Selke had some potential, Fullkrug had some potential ... but just feels like they have their problems.

    Don’t think Beier will make much impact in Bundesliga unless he improves his efficiency, consistency and physicality. I m expecting him to be a poor man’s Mason Greenwood type;

Adeyemi, Burkardt and Moukoko I think both will develop as wingers.

2000 and 2001 . No Centre forwards (Real 9s) who can make the leap. They need to score even in limited time. Arp or Jesaja Herrmann isn’t even dominating in lower divisions

    Woltemade is not an efficient striker;

Maybe Igor Matanovic, Kabadayi, Topp and Gedikli ... Many question marks to Geidkli’s commitment to football (reminds me a bit of Dautaj), Matanovic’s health/fitness issue and Kabadayi’s eligibility to Germany...but for a country of Germany’s size it’s still extremely rare

training for top striker talents has been an issue,

they used to look for big strikers , but then technical ability and efficiency were lacked. We can see that from Sukuta-Pasu, Mlapa, Seydel, Iyoha, Kader or Mike Bromer...

then now they want to focus more on technique first. Then we have too many false 9s without physicality n athelticism to go against two central defenders . All around winger forwards , like many Andre Schurrles in the new generation

I think they need to change the entire training system. We need a good mix of attributes in our strikers training

Many clubs in Bundesliga are fed up with German striker talents now n go for foreign Striker talents even in U17/U19. There’s no surprise because their German Youth strikers Didn’t perform well either ...

Two ways : 1) more small side football to promote more ball contacts, more duels and more decision making in youth; 2) need To focus more on individual training for strikers, not only system n tactical training
