From the highlights footage I've seen of the match where he scored against NAC Breda, it looks like Ache has good athleticism and aerial ability but is still raw. Realistically, he's probably 2 years away from becoming a consistent starter at the pro level.
At Sparta he's in a good place as they are a good developing club from which quality players came through their academy. Side note: the Dutch women coach Sarina learned her trade at the Sparta academy!
Felix Platte has worked his way into a starting role for Darmstadt, and also scored versus Holstein Kiel today. His target should be finishing with 10+ goals this season.
Selke should have scored today. Had such a good chance, only problem is that he was too quick to take a shot at the rushing keeper. Take the ball sideways and you get an empty net.

Stuttgart's coach Hannes Wolf could continue going with Ginczek as the starter and Terodde off the bench. https://www.echo24.de/sport/vfb-stuttgart/vfb-duo-knipst-ginczek-terodde-on-fire-8920644.html
Mark Uth has an adductor muscle issue, but it is not considered to be a serious injury. https://www.ligainsider.de/mark-uth_469/entwarnung-bei-uth-229778/
this season in Europe for German strikers Werner-only German striker to score at the CL with his 1st ever CL goal, vs Porto Wagner-scored 1 in CL Qualifiers vs Liverpool and 1 in EL vs Braga Uth- scored 2 in CL Qualifiers vs Liverpool Selke-scored 1 goal in 1 game in EL vs Zorya Petersen-scored 1 in EL Qualifier vs NK Domzale (currently out of Europe)
Davie Selke just can't stop scoring in the Europa League. Another goal today as he scores against Zorya again.
and a German youth for the assist. if only Selke would start scoring in the league. Still 2 goals in this current season in all competition since his return from injury.
Selke could be Germany's version of Diego Costa. Scoring goals and pissing off the opposition as he plays like a douchebag.
here's Zoller's goal not bad at all. He's finally getting into scoring form. https://imgtc.com/uploads/quLxmjVrdg2.mp4 and Selke's header https://imgtc.com/uploads/2Kwj6EpkNDE.mp4 I'll only update the list once the matches are done.
Zoller's goal was actually pretty crisp and clinical. If he can be consistent, then he might be Koeln's solution to their scoring woes this season.
Selke's second is with the goal that he should have scored during the weekend. This time he's able to get around past the keeper for the easy finish. https://imgtc.com/uploads/EwMjQrCLUR9.mp4
Europe Update Werner-only German striker to score at the CL with his 1st ever CL goal, vs Porto Selke-scored 3 goals in 2 games in EL vs Zorya X2 Wagner-scored 1 in CL Qualifiers vs Liverpool and 1 in EL vs Braga Uth- scored 2 in CL Qualifiers vs Liverpool Zoller-scored 1 goal in EL vs BATE Petersen-scored 1 in EL Qualifier vs NK Domzale (currently out of Europe) pretty much even more so since Ibisevic isn't scoring at all this season. Only 1 goal in all competition.
EL Scoring chart 5 goals Rigoni Kokorin 4 goals Jose Plea Silva 3 goals Selke and 8 other players it's even more impressive when you remember that Selke only played 2 games out of 4 whereas the rest played more. A Selke who played from the beginning could have potentially tied or led the table.
It's too soon to consider him ready for WC 2018 NT considerations. But I wonder what are the chances for Selke if he continues to score well this season, and if others like Gomez and Wagner struggle with health or form. So far, Selke has been been clinical in EL. He just needs to transfer this and score at a steady rate in the BL. I gave him the objective to get 10+ goals on this first season for him at Hertha. If that is for all competitions, I think that number is very manageable and he is well on his way. Realistically I think he'll be a NT option for post-2018. But I want to see him make the most of this campaign and be as productive as possible.
his best option is produce as much as possible this season so that even if he fails to make the WC squad. He'll be considered post WC, usually we have some games in August/September.
