    Its finally time.

Win, and top 4 is ours and we can push for top 3, which would be an incredible achievement considering the start to the year + all the "Arsenal relegation battle memes".

Lose or draw, and our push for top 4 is still in our hands but the margin for error is gone.

Its been a while since a North London Derby has top 4 ramifications on the line, last time involved dodgy lasagna and accusations that we were involved in it.

Top 4 or not, its a NLD. I want us to absolutely bury Spurs. Our last few visits to their horribly named stadium have ended in 1-0, 2-0 and 2-1 losses. No doubt they will be up for this, but I think we are going to get the win.

Arsenal 2-1 win, Nketiah and ESR with the goals.

    COYG!

So much is riding on this: CL, St. Totts Day. NLD, beating THEM, and general bragging rights to my bandwagon American friends who support THEM.

I can take the afternoon off to watch this live, but I don’t know if I my heart and intestines can handle it…

White is supposed to be available for Thurs. Theoretical... would you go with a Gabi/Holding pairing at CB with Tomi/White at FB in order to maximize our defense on the back line?

A win would be MASIVE but a draw still keeps us 4pts ahead which means we can afford one slipup.
    Don't. Lose.
If he can play, I'd rather have 60 minutes of BW than 60 of Cedric.

It's kinda cool that we're in a position where technically we can still afford to lose this and still achieve our objectives of top 4 & St.Tott's.

BUT personally I'm seeing a draw as the minimum required result. It feels like a must-not-lose to me.

And I can't remember... which of us is supposed to be baking the lasagna this time??

Of course you do! Even without the artful use of font scaling, italics, bolding & capitalization of the progenitor to this emphatic phrase, we do get the point.

    Still... what about that hike???

Yes but winning guarantees 4th (we would be 7 pts ahead with 2 matches to play) and gives us a shot for 3rd (we are currently 1 pt behind with 3 matches to play including NLD).

Sure that would be nice. But I'm just being realistic. I'd be quite happy with a draw, ecstatic with a win, but gutted with a loss.

Even though we've managed to get wins in our last 4 outings, the last 2 at least we've not played particularly great and still just squeaked it out.

Spuds are quite good (see their last match/result at Anfield) and have some lethal offensive weapons. For me, if we can go to their place and get a draw, it's all good.

I told you I'm surveying a proposed trail that afternoon, so I will be hoofing it through the suburban brush.

It’d be kind of more hilarious if we lose here and still finish above them.

But imagine a Saint Totteringham’s Day that happens at that shithole. That would be :chef’s kiss:

I’ve been thinking of the next new banner at the Grove: “We Won Top 4 at WHL 12.5.22”

Well yeah it was meant to be tongue in cheek, especially depending on what you think now about Wenger's creation of the Top 4 Trophy.

On his podcast this week Alan Davies kept referring to our trip to Armitage Shanks Arena. I was like huh? Then I looked it up and of course that's a British loo company much like (and in fact owned by) American Standard.

Time for a proper good flush then?
