Sonny's put Spurs up 1-0 on a deflected shot after being put through on a brilliant ball from Kane.

We've looked lively in the first 10 minutes, but have left too much space at the back a time or two already.

This will be the first full match I've watched since the re-start ... assuming i can stomach all 90. So far, so good.

Leicester knocking on the door. Spurs struggling to clear back-to-back-to-back corners. Nervy at the back.

Lo Celso with a brilliant pass to Son over the top, but Schmeichel with a fine save. Close.

Very nice counter which Kane finishes to put us up 2-0.

Kane again! Brilliantly curls it into the far post from the left side of the box. Vintage Harry.

Kane on a hat trick with most of an hour left to play ... just like a few years back.

We've looked quite good on the counter, by the way.

Don't think we've been 3-0 up on anyone since Red Star in November.

Leicester with sustained pressure. We've defended well, though.

Lamela and Bergwijn for Moura and (i think) Lo Celso.

George Hirst on for Leicester, making his senior debut.

For what it's worth, he is the son of David Hirst, a striker for Sheffield Wednesday and a key part of their really good teams of the early 90s. Hirst is one of the most brilliant players that most young folks have never heard of. To say he was good is a massive understatement. He'd be better known if he hadn't been krocked by a savage tackle from the goon scum Steve Bould.

Wednesday (of certain vintage, anyway) may be the only lot that hate Arsenal almost as much as we do.

Tomorrow could be the deciding factor in Tottenham's quest for Europe.

Wolves SHOULD win this match @ home to Crystal Palace, but, you never know. The pressure is now firmly on the Wolves. How will they react? If there is one thing most teams like doing.. its taking away an opportunity from another team that isnt present for themselves. Teams love playing spoiler. That is the job of Palace tomorrow.

Essentially, everyone is a Palace fan tomorrow. I think a tie alone, leaving them 1 pt behind Tottenham going into Stamford on the final match day could seal it.

I have a subscription to DAZN, the only way you can watch PL or CL in Canada, and they give you the option of watching with just the stadium sound, which I prefer. You can hear all the chatter on the pitch and the coach's instructions, although if you were expecting any great insight, most of them are yelling: "Get out! Move up!". It was interesting listening to Arteta, he yells at the players in French, Spanish and English, a long way from Harry Redknapp's "Just effin run around out there!'

A Jose classic, possession was 70-30 for Leicester, shots were 24-6 and corners 13-4, but we did them with 3 goals on the counter. It looked a lot like how Leicester played in the their championship season.

End of the season and demolishing Leicester, name a more iconic duo.

Yeah, it's definitely not 'the Tottenham way'. Then again, we'd put the game to bed within 40 minutes and looked reasonably comfortable the whole way ... which is definitely not the Tottenham way. If I thought he could get us playing that way that well every week, I'd be ok with that; but I have a hard time seeing it.

At any rate, as I've always said, give me either attractive football or results and I'll not complain. Both would be awesome, but either will do. Neither, however, and we've got a problem. It'll be nice to finish the season strong, which, with a win at Palace, I think will be fair to say we've done. But as Philly said a few days ago, he'll have to put up or shut up in the season to come. If we don't hit the ground running next season, the pressure won't be far behind.

As Brian Clough once said: "Everyone hates the Arsenal."

Speaking of David Hirst, he scored a cracker against us on opening day of the 94-95 season and Jurgen Klinsmann's debut, one of my favourite Spurs games. You're right, he was a good footballer and the younger Hirst looked lively and nearly scored from a corner.

More of Hirst here (if time travel were possible, he would solve our Second Striker Syndrome):

My favorite Clough story is about first meeting Teddy Sheringham.

    "You must be Edward Sheringham"
"Yes, boss, but I like to be called Teddy"
    "Ok, see you around, Edward"

    And more rep, as well.

Those Wednesday teams (featuring US international Johnny Harkes and Thread-of-Famer Chrissy Waddle) were really, really good. They finished as high as 3rd in the Prem, and they reached three cup finals (winning one) over a 3 or 4 year stretch. And all playing really nice attacking football. Good times.

Edit: I've watched that 3-4 video three times now. So many memorable names for both sides, there. Good times, indeed.
