Yeah, I mean, at the moment he needs a bitch-slap because he's playing against us. Off topic, is Son done now? Is he carrying an injury?
This might be it for Ange. Unless you have a squad full of top tier backups, you can't have the luxury of just playing one way. You have to be able to adapt to what is available.
Really? You're no longer defending him? Again, you use the excuse of a weak squad, but I will repeat my comment I've been making since the summer, because it clearly hasn't registered with any of you: He said he was happy with the transfer window. That he wanted those players. That he didn't want centre-backs. That he was backed by the club. His words.
Are you out of your f*cking mind?! You cannot possibly think it hasn't registered. You've said it ten-f*cking-thousand times. Everybody's heard it. Everybody knows what he's said and everybody knows what you f*cking think. "The prosecution rests"?! As if. Like f*ck it does. You'll keep banging on about it as long as possible. I'd almost like him to get the sack just to shut you up about it. But then, you'd just start bitching about whatever comes next. F*ck off. Have a good day, everyone.
******** you too, asshole. And thanks again for making my point. I shouldn't be surprised by your expletive-laden response because that is about the extent of your intelligence. I keep banging on about it because I keep hearing the excuse from you and others, and the inept manager, about us having injuries and a weak squad. So when I keep hearing the same nonsense, I call it out. The truth hurts.
Now 12 defeats in our last 22 PL games. 6 clean sheets in our last 43 PL games. We have lost 2 games this season where we led 2-0. We have only won 1 of the last 7 games. Under Ange, we have lost 27 points from winning positions. This season, we have lost 9 points from winning positions after just 15 games. But at least the football's entertaining. Still waiting to hear anything intelligent from the Ange/Levy apologists.
The World According to Ange Postecoglou: "We've played well today". Mate, you blew a 2-0 lead at home and conceded 4 goals. You were absolutely shredded. You conceded two daft penalties. They had 46 touches in our box. Madness. I can't believe some of the claptrap that comes out of his mouth.
Peut-être si je parle un peu de français, les gens vont penser que je suis plus intelligent que je suis.
You have a lot of work to do to express yourself coherently in the only language you know to start trying to speak others.
Romero told Telemundo: "He's a great coach. We saw it in the first season. In this second one we've suffered a lot of injuries. "Players are the first one to be criticised, then if we lose 10 games, the staff can be changed, but nobody talks about what is actually happening. "We are very happy with this staff, me and my colleagues. We love how they work and the football they try to play. We'll try to move on quickly."
From the Guardian BTL; 'I hear the stewards have identified a Tottenham fan responsible for putting rubbish on the field. His name's Daniel Levy'
Ok, but I wasn't the one who started it. So if anybody calls me names or swears at me (you know who you are), I will respond in kind.
Saying he may lose his job is neither criticism or defense, just observation. You know, you have more in common with Ange than you would like to admit. Beyond the Greek/Cypriot connection that originally endeared him to you, both of you seem to have just one way of operating and you apply it, regardless of circumstances or appropriateness. It can make both of you appear quite oblivious to reality.
No, I operate in facts and nothing else. You are the one who is oblivious to reality. So I will give you the facts again, because they are clearly not getting through. We have lost 19 of our last 43 games in the PL. This manager is shite by any metric. How is that being oblivious to reality? The truth hurts.
Popcorn worthy thread we have here lol. Not surprised we bottled a 2-0 lead, these are the same jokers who can’t beat Bournemouth, Fulham, Brighton, Ipswich, Palace etc. Injuries or not this guy won’t last long if this continues. You have to adapt and manage your way through injuries. Barring another panic move by Levy he’ll get another season to ply his management style here and at this point only a trophy might alleviate some pressure because our position in the table speaks volumes about his approach. COYS!
Wrong on 2 counts. You operate on selected facts, the ones that support your mindset. There are plenty of other Spurs facts, like just off the top of my head, goals scored, goal difference, and the 52 games I think it was since City last lost at home. You don't mention those. (Btw to use your confrontational tone, I don't care what you think about these, they are facts. "The truth hurts" ) The other thing you operate on is your relentlessly negative opinions, eg. deciding that players are useless, or that we'd be better off with Brighton's kids. I challenge you to tell me how that is a 'fact and nothing else'. Oh, great, another one of these. Heads up: we all know how badly the season is going. It's baffling to me why you think people here don't get it. Do you need us to reply every time to these tedious lists? "Yes, yes, Golara, great points you make there". Instead, you treat any different opinion (even slightly different) as evidence the other person is an idiot. Imagine you had a school or college friend whose girlfriend/wife you didn't like. If you kept listing your problems with her, every time you saw him, he wouldn't be your friend for long. To spell it out, the reality that you're oblivious to is far more prosaic than Ange's: it is your effect on this community. You drive people away with your constant negativity and in some cases rudeness. There can't be more than 10 people contributing here regularly, we're not big enough to afford to lose posters. I've been on this site a long time, and I value it. You post a lot, and I respect your knowledge of Spurs. Of course being negative has it's place, especially with our team and games like today. I just wish it was a bit more balanced. If it were, I think criticism when it came would be much more credible.
Boo-hoo. Maybe if you didn't call some of the posters names and swore at them, they wouldn't leave. I don't understand what you mean by selected stats. I have given you a very wide range of stats and metrics that fly in the face of what you've been saying. All facts, not opinion. You really need to look up the definition of these words, because you clearly don't understand what they mean. Yes, the truth does hurt and I don't need to call you a dickhead to make my point. We stopped City's 52 game unbeaten run at home? We have a plus 12 goal difference? Really? Then explain why we are in 11th and have lost more than we have won. That's not negative, that's factual. The table doesn't lie. Not opinion. Fact.
When someone called him 'Aussie Ardiles' I laughed my arse off. I'm now of a mind that we should probably just sit back and enjoy the ride. Lots of entertainment, goals and crap defending. And a rogue Timo Werner being occasionally unleashed on the field for added, 'wtf?' moments.
