Spoke to Walker yesterday and he said that he is feeling much better now but still not ready to play. He said he thinks he can make first match though!
BBC: Roberto Soldado will miss Tottenham's Europa League play-off second leg against AEL Limassol at White Hart Lane tomorrow night. The Spanish striker, who scored one of the goals as Spurs won 2-1 in Cyprus, has neck and back injuries but defender Vlad Chiriches is available for the first time this season following injury. Kyle Walker is still out with a hip problem as Spurs look to secure their place in the group stages.
Walker underwent lower abdominal surgery according to Spurs Official. Don't see anything regarding recovery time.
Encouraging return for Pritchard. Looking forward to watching him this season. Also, Lloris with 90 minutes. From the Official Site: After injuring his ankle on England duty at the European Under-21 Championships over the summer, the attacking midfielder has been working hard on the road to recovery at Hotspur Way. Having just returned to full training, the 22-year-old was pleased to get 45 minutes of much-needed game time in our 4-1 Barclays Under-21 Premier League triumph against the Toffees, with his two first half goals coming as an added bonus.
Yeah it will be a while before Pritchard is ready but at least it's looking like just a few weeks at most, huge boost for us to have someone who can step in for and compete with Eriksen, let alone being able to play them both if we need an added playmaker.
Son Heung-min: Tottenham forward out with foot injury Tottenham are unsure how long forward Son Heung-min will be out for with the foot injury he suffered in the Premier League victory over Manchester City.
Lyall Thomas of Sky reports that Son is out "for a few weeks," according to Poch. Mason, Bentaleb, Dembele and Pritchard don't travel to Monaco. N'Jie seems a likely start.
That's a real blow, especially as the club has taken to publically underestimate every injury. N'Jie did look good against City so hopefully he steps up and can be a starter. The only silver lining is at least this happened before an international break, hopefully he recovers by the Liverpool game.
SWANSEA V SPURS - TEAM NEWS Posted on 3 October 2015 - 15:02 There is good news on Mousa Dembele ahead of Sunday’s trip to Swansea City in the Premier League. The midfielder has made good progress in his recovery from a foot injury and is in contention for a place in the squad at the Liberty Stadium. Mousa was last in action in the goalless home draw with Everton back on August 29. Meanwhile, Danny Rose looks set to miss the Swansea match with a hand injury sustained in Thursday’s night’s 1-1 draw with Monaco in the Europa League. Ryan Mason (knee), Nabil Bentaleb (ankle), Alex Pritchard (ankle) and Heung-Min Son (foot) remain sidelined.
Turns out the Son injury is Plantar fasciitiis, so a few weeks is literally the most optimistic return date. It's one of those which could take up to 6 months to fully heal... just hope it was a minor one caused by a bump, and not chronic.
If Dier wasn't suspended, I wouldn't want to see either of them start, tbh, but it's good to have them back in the mix.
Posh says Son out for another three weeks and Mason and Bentaleb still unavailable, but close. #thfc team news: Son could be out for another 3 weeks. Mason & Bentaleb are still injured, but close. Dier suspended http://t.co/sWniZXIxIY— Ben Pearce (@BenPearceSpurs) October 15, 2015
Yeah unfortunate, although at least it sounds like Mason and Bentelab are very close to play again. He said could make the Europe game or Bournemouth.
Poch in response to January window talk: “Before January, Chadli and Son will be back,” he added. “Today is too far to January to decide – Son maybe three weeks maximum and Chadli maybe four, five or six. Kane picked up a knock vs. Liverpool and may be rested Thursday. The Guardian
